I asked this earlier I think, but right under the two launches in front of the building, are they gonna fill that with water? It looks very deep and the supports are tall, so I don't see them filling that with dirt. Plus the concept art does show launching out over a fjord or gorge something... They never mentioned that and there was never anything like that in the plans, but I could certainly visualize that and it looks good. :)

I think that is where they relocated the big pile of dirt, lol, but I am sure with all the dirt moved/removed, they could use that to fill it up. It was a massive dirt pile.

Most likely, they are going to just leave it be. After all, I am sure they are more worried about how amazing the ride is going to be rather than what the ground beneath it is going to look like. I think the only real main natural feature they carry most about is the Rhine River and the drop into it, practically.

Volcomator99 welcome to the forums.

They first have to finished the electrical and control wiring and theming in the event building than the fun part begins and that is testing, which I think should begin around March or April. This all depends on the weather and right now the weather is on their side and that is a good thing.

For those who want to get an idea and wondering like I was, what the seating may look like under the car cover or what model coaster Verbolten is. So, I did some looking on Wikipedia about Zierer and noticed that Verbolten is elevated-seating-coaster model. So, I went to Zierer's website and found this about the elevated-seating-coaster which is standard coaster model that Zierer sells. But, ours is custom version of the standard model normally sold. For one ours uses LSM launch system from the Tower Launch model and train seating from a elevated-seating-coaster model.

I thought testing was scheduled for February? I sear I saw that some where here. I think they must have fallen off schedule a bit.

Quit making me lol. Event building fx get tested first and are nowhere near remotely finished. Then the trains get pulled across the tracks for a while for clearance evaluations. Then do actual testing. Whoever confirmed that for you is sadly misinformed.

I have to agree with Atlantis on this one. We need to all the trains here first and need to be put together by Zierer, which takes less than week to put together one train. Zierer has to check the I/O wiring in controllers to verify that electricians connected everything in cabinets correctly and download PLC program. Zierer also has smaller crew on site (like two min) to get this work done.

I think my time estimate is some what close and stated around March or April to start any testing with the trains and this include any problems either.

The only thing that will that will be ready is the event building theming which can some what be tested only to see if works. But, really needs to tested with trains running through the building to adjust the timing and components related to the theming.

We'll probably at least see it testing on pass member preview day. I remember going the year Griffon opened and watched them test it practically all day.

I will say that the park was very vague... I doubt the park is misinformed... They were probably talking about the very very very early stages of testing (like making sure the thing turns on or testing the lights or something like that)... All they told me was "testing will begin in February" and I guess you were talking about testing the trains on the track
