Blue train appears to still be in rehab. I want to note this rides crew is always the best in the park by a large margin. I think even one train ops they do a pretty solid job sending trains through. Today was so nice and the train was absolutely zipping over the hills.

Yep. Was genuinely surprised to see it still running only 1 train today. TT always has a great crew.

In response to the Backlot Stunt Coaster thread.... Twisted Timbers has a removable wall on the 2nd car front row (21 unload) to allow for easier wheelchair boarding. There is a sensor in the door that will tell the computer if the wall piece is locked in place.

The wooden coasters have a metal bench that operators can place in any row that will assist wheelchairs users to slide into the train. Woodstock Express' transfer device can be seen near the back of the unload side of the station. I believe the same is true for Racer 75. But I cant remember. The device is separate from the train and I believe is something that KD designed for themselves since I don't recall seeing it at other Cedar Fair parks.

Rode it Saturday for the first time since last year. It killed my quads every time I rode, but now that I’m down to 190 (was 250ish last summer) I finally got to enjoy it with no pain. Probably my favorite coaster in the park now!

Congrats on the weight loss! That's amazing. I got stuck and moved back up a bit, unfortunately. Anyway, I think the pain is just dependent on how fast it's running that day. If it's slower than usual it's a great time for me. If it's running regular speed or faster it's pretty painful. Or maybe if I got to 190 I'd find the same thing. I don't know.

I used to think it was the best ride in the park when it was my 2nd of 2 RMCs. Then I rode……9 more RMCs and I’m back to praising Dale. AF1 seemed to negatively impact my view of it to the point I noticed the speed wasn’t that high. With that I conclude…….I’ve ridden too many roller coasters. 🤣

I went on the exact same journey when TT was new. Opening weekend sessions blew my mind, but over time (and many more coasters) I realized that i305 is the pinnacle of rides in that park. TT is great, but the big guy still takes my breath away on every ride. I would also consider arguments that for one year TT was actually the 3rd best behind Volcano.

Either way, I also went back to:

305 keeps moving up my list in a way that I can't fully understand as the rest of my favorite list seems to stay fairly consistent with the exception of adding Skyrush after my first ride. TT keeps falling it almost seems like 305 improves with age and TT starts to grow stell as it ages.

TT definitely suffers from being a “smaller RMC” the more I go around and ride more rides the smaller RMCs I’ve done: TT, Storm Chaser, Twisted Cyclone tend to fall under more unique rides I’ve done.

I find myself getting more torn between it and Storm Chaser because Storm Chaser has that “oddly wobbly lap bar” feature with an extremely aggressive layout. The difference isn’t that material though if I’m being honest. Timbers and Storm Chaser are neck and neck.

I love this ride. Couldn't be more glad that when Cedar Fair decided to test out RMC we landed one and it's always a blast, even with no left turns of any kind. I actually like having this ride and Wildcat's Revenge to compliment it up at Hershey. They are both relatively different experiences due to the layout. Timbers at the end of the day is more about just fun in a manner similar to rides like Phoenix.

This is one of my favorite coasters of all time (my credit count is 51)
Weather is usually one of the hot topics about twisted, and I think it's great in the cold and the heat. In the cold all the hangtime is cranked up to 11, and in the heat the airtime will be borderline painful. I don't know how it compares to other small scale RMCs like storm chaser and joker, but I think if you want ejector airtime you want this, not Steve. It still is number 2 in the park for me though(not much tops Intimidator in my opinion).
It is really fricking close to lightning rod in my rankings.
