Ride was fun but wow, its legitimately painful to ride in my opinion. Its fun, but it isnt as good as I305 or Pantheon (BGW). The hype around the ride seems undeserved. Its fine. Its fun, but the restraints are uncomfortable and the ride is probably the most painful coaster ive ever ridden and for sure at KD (its not unbearable, but it does take away from the experience.).

Did you only ride once? My first ride on it was brutal then for some reason I never noticed the pain nearly as much after I think I wasn’t quite used to the feeling. Same thing happened with Superman at SFNE.

Also it could have been running REALLY fast if it was above 90. Sometimes I don’t mind when it’s running slower 😂.

I’ve ridden it a bunch and it stayed painful for me. It does vary, though. Sometimes more tolerable than others. I hate the stupidly pointless and painful bunny hops

It definitely hits a point where it goes too fast for the layout and just becomes a pain fest through those bunny hills. On really hot days it would be nice if they could slow it a bit off the lift hill to compensate.

It was like 95 out so maybe thats part of it! I enjoyed the ride and if its a walk on like yesterday Ill definitely ride it, and in general ill be aiming for riding it once per visit, its definitely fun, but those bunny hills did feel pointless and painful as mentioned by rswashdc. Looking forward to trying it on a cooler day now!

Yeah I recommend getting on it earlier in the day or on a cooler day. Late day in the summer she’s tryna send you to space and finds the lap bars frustrating for that purpose.

Curious topic for those that may know the answer. Does anyone know why the blue train genuinely runs noticeably slower than green? I mean the difference at the end of the day is largely immaterial but it’s just fascinating one of the trains seems to be noticeably quicker almost always than the other. Is it something with the wheels?

Anyone else noticed they don't have the apple scents in the queue this season? My first few visits this year I thought it was just early season quirks, but I haven't smelled it at all this year in 6 or 7 visits. Anyone know anything?

What? I swear there was???!! Now I'm questioning everything I've ever known about the park. Everyone I've gone to the park with until this year has commented on how the area near the extended queue smells like apples. They didn't put apple scents in the air?

No idea if they had some kinda scent dispersement thing for the queue, but realistically it would have been impractical to continue maintaining and reloading it over time if one ever existed.

There was never a scent in the line. I’ve never heard of anyone claiming there to be one either until you said something. I wonder where your friends got it from.

If there was any scents in the queue, it was probably Odoban and cleaning supplies haha

Don't forget the morning test cycle with a tool bag in it. I called you guys up about that one cause I saw it going flying on the first bunny hill LOL.

Haha! And the water dummies getting launched into the sky, and the wheels bursting through the over bank, and the ADA sensor, and the over launching of the brake run, and the sawing of the transfer table during park hours, and the lady who got hit by a phone bad, and the other lady that got hit by a phone bad, the other lady that got hit by a phone bad, and the fucking fire on brake run with people on the train that we got in trouble for trying to put out! 😭

What an opening year

Had a weird and frustrating experience at TT yesterday. The line was moving at a glacial pace and we seemingly only took a small step forward every few minutes, but trains continued to dispatch regularly. After about 10 minutes of barely moving, I noticed that the trains started to have more and more empty seats. Eventually, the trains were regularly running with around 5 riders on them — the rest of the seats were empty. It took us over 20 minutes to go from the last turn in the queue before the metal detectors (where the queue cuts under the coaster structure, maybe 30 yards from the metal detector) to finally getting a locker.

As we gradually approached the metal detector in the queue, I noticed they were only sending one group through the metal detector to get a locker every few minutes (not an exaggeration). So the line was getting so bottlenecked at the lockers that the ride was basically running empty.

Anyone familiar with TT’s operations have any idea what might’ve been happening? To be clear, the bottleneck was not the guests putting things into the lockers, but the rate by which the attendant would admit the next group through the metal detectors to get a locker. The locker area would be completely cleared out long before the next group was ushered in.

It was absurdly painful (and, as the host of a handful of guests who had never visited the park before) almost embarrassing watching train after train fly by nearly empty, while barely moving in the line.
