That was totally a wasted trip from Norfolk. The mommy bloggers will be happy, so I guess that's what they're going for.
I'm with Trevor on this one. Why hype this up? They should have mentioned from the get-go that 'the kids are gonna be happy' or something like that. The hype this received was pretty much cruel.

Considering the video was of Snoopy looking over plans, I thinking the clues were all there. It only screamed roller coaster if you felt convinced that only a roller coaster needs marketing.
I am more convinced that shutting down Hurler was precursor to nothing. They shut it down because they had to, for whatever reason. Now they are deciding its fate. I would not be surprised if there were not any long range plans for KD and a coaster at this time.

If Snoopy was looking at locations other than Hurler, I'd agree with you.
Not going to say I told you so... remember the tweet on 8/11/16 that said, "things aren't always what they seem." That was the tip off for me that a new coaster was not to be and a park official who told me on 8/13/2016 that parents will be happy with the announcement on 8/20.
To be honest, I am a little disappointed based on the hype and was really hopping for a new coaster or an RMC of Hurler. But not totally surprised. After all, CF would rather invest in Carowinds than KD, so I guess we will be waiting a while. Looking forward to Carowind's GCI in 2018!

Any major remodel is going to require permeates so ynless its a small in house job like Grizzly it not goung to be a suprise.strycker said:
Nope building permits are public records and as such open to public review. The fact of the matter is that there is no legal way for KD to secretively remove let alone re place or even do a major remodel on Hurler without filing those papers and once they do they are reviewable by the public. They can plan it all out in secret but they can't start any physical work on it without the permits.madmax said:
