I mean, CF said that rides don't bring in people. Maybe they'll tear Crypt down for a seasonal event stage.
At least this proves to me that KD kept some of that Volcano budget. Now can they get Backlot's going again?
At least the crypt has the ability to use the leftover propane from volcano (I assume they shared the same propane storage tanks in the back area between Avalanche and the former mountain).
Or maybe more people are riding it, because there is less to do in that area of the park.

I could see ridership actually decrease this season. The Volcano served as a "weenie" for the whole area and now that the coaster and physical volcano are gone, there's nothing to draw back riders. Especially as people start ignoring that area of the park as a whole as other than Avalanche and Crypt it's fairly lacking. That whole cove of Safari Village feels very desolate without Volcano serving as the backdrop and as the headlining attraction for the area. Whenever I'm in the area it looks like foot traffic has dropped considerably. The only reason I feel the Crypt is open is solely because of the loss of Volcano. It's a very apparent trend that most regional parks are taking out their top spins due to the high maintenance cost and considering our version has many costly effects it's very hard to justify operation.I assume that because Volcano is gone and its effects have returned, The Crypt might have significantly more traffic this year than it has in years.
