I think that it doesn't fit the park well but it's a 10/10 compact shuttle coaster. Considering it's main comparison would be a Vekoma Boomerang, it's not a bad ride.

I have to agree that the ride is fun and gives a unique feeling. However the execution of this ride wasn't good at all considering a theme was kinda thrown together and there wasnt enough time between announcement and opened to give this ride any fanfare

I think this ride would've been twice as good if it had no comfort collars. This ride started a trend that is not loved by the community.

I agree about the dingus’ that a left to flop about on top of the seats, but i’m a pretty hefty guy and.
have no problem getting in...

Is Tempesto ride-able for taller/bigger people? I had a friend say it was very uncomfortable for her (she is around 6'0).

I tend to believe that the taller you are, the better off you'll be on Tempesto. Ideally the comfort collars would sit right on your shoulders like i305's straps do for most people after they're tightened. The issues arise when the straps aren't tight enough to minimize lateral movement and become something that, instead, just flops into your head/neck repeatedly throughout the ride.

I like the unique feels of this ride but my concern is the .02” of leg room they give you between the seats.

I’m 6’4” and while it’s difficult to get in, I have 0 issues while riding, as my head is above the comfort collars. I’m in the minority for liking tempesto, still hate the location though lol.

That is reassuring then. I'll have to check it out next season.

Is Tempesto too old? Let's look at the facts
1. Tempesto opened on April 25th, 2015 (Almost 5 years old)!
2. The color scheme is very outdated.
3. The comfort collars are also old.
Conclusion:
It is, tear it down.
The park has never bought new trains for the ride since it was built and is currently down to running only one train. Seems to me it’s definitely on its last leg.

Do you all actually hate this ride? I've never ridden one. I'm worried it would make me sick, but it does look like it would be fun if you can tolerate it.

I think parts of it are really fun. I love the backwards launch, and the full launch up to the top of the structure is also a neat sensation. I’m not a huge fan of everything after the in-line twist though, since the non-inverting loop is pretty jerky and slams my head and neck against the comfort collars. I’ll still ride for the launch portion of the ride, but it’s not worth much of a wait.

Removing the comfort collars alone would make the experience infinitely better. I still hate the location right up Apollo’s ass, but that’s more of a personal grudge than something to really hold against the ride experience itself.

It’s just fine. The comfort collars are annoying as hell while getting in and out but really don’t do much during the ride. It trades off the insane hangtime on similar flat rides like inverting ships and Larson loops for the launch that really only punches on the first go.

It’s a coaster that while I would call it poor, doesn’t do anything really. So not much good or bad.

TLDR: good slightly expensive flat/bad cheap coaster: you pick what to call it.
