I just have one question, why does Scott always have to ruin the natural beauty of San Marco every special event? San Marco, especially Da Vinci's Garden of Inventions is one of, if not the most beautiful section of the park. However, every special event terrible facades and ugly props literally cover Da Vinci's Garden of Inventions, totally ruining its natural beauty.

Not only that, but these facades are removing key elements of Da Vinci's Garden of Inventions. For example, this probably has left everyone's minds, but who remembers the beautiful statue that used to stand tall in the center fountain? Well before a stage was built on top of the fountain for Illuminights, there used to be a statue similar to the ones in the surrounding flower beds, that used to be a part of the fountain, and had water features. However, a very common re-occurrence among the Ent. Department, they will take out things for special events, and those things will never return. I mean seriously, do they have a warehouse of stuff full of missing thematic elements? Because, there are so many things missing it's too much to count.

Who knows what this is going to turn out like, but why, just why is the most beautiful area of the park facaded the hell out of very special event? Why not Festa, a hamlet that people would actually be happy to see facades over. I'm sorry, this just really pisses me off because I love Da Vinci's Garden of Inventions.

I go back to my earlier suggestion. WWII Southern Europe liberation theme. What could be more American than a Sherman Tank parked in the middle of Da Vinci Garden?? Think of the fun to be had in France! Evenings in Arden Forest! There could be landing craft in the lake! The potential for fun in Germany is without measure!

They could totally fix London Rocks with the Blitz!

Honestly, other than last year's Illuminights fountain cover that covered it all year, I thought San Marco had some of the best overlays in the park. The only downside was removing the grape stomping photo op and replacing it with booths and bars. I don't even understand why the park didn't bother bringing it back and sticking it someplace else for F&W since it really fits with that event well.

Yes, I know, but those facades definitely aren't as beautiful as it would be without them. I guess I can look over the HOS facades, but I hate how the Grape Stomping booth is practically only there for two months at the beginning of the season, I just hope it doesn't get lost deep in storage like a lot of other things have.

Then we can celebrate Russia winning the war. Because they did.

OOOHHH. Christmas Town could have a whole new feel! Christmas on the Eastern Front.

Dining options would be so simple, everyone would get ration cards when they entered the park!

She was built by the french, but she's our "lady in the harbor". Nothing screams american like the statue of liberty....or the independence grill or the victory canteen ....lol

Honestly, it is a summer event celebrating the biggest holiday during the summer. Instead of having tons of decor across the whole park, it is limited to one hamlet. I know things can't be perfect; however, right now the event seems to be much more "classy" and "tasteful" than what many people originally stated. I think this could be a great event. Personally, I would much rather prefer small American-themed merchandise and culinary booths throughout the park much like the Food & Wine Festival.

Either way I am at the moment, very interested to see how this event will be presented. I've heard someone suggest they might use the Grimm Reaper from Howl-o-Scream as the Statue of Liberty. It was just a joke, please no one take that serious and go further with it. Definitely gave me a chuckle.
