Breakfast at Squires was stopped already, they opened a separate breakfast burrito cart. The cart would make it cheaper as they don't need many people to operate it, plus it is easier to clean up than the equipment at Squires. It also allows for Squires to open up for lunch and dinner much quicker.

The move seemed odd to me, regardless of the reason they gave jruscoe1. I am sure all of the ingredient prep is still happening in Squire's Grill for this Burrito cart, I can't see them cracking/cooking eggs at the cart nor frying up the bacon and potatoes. I am sure all of that is still happening in Squire's Kitchens. Perhaps there is less cleanup on the actual cafeteria line, but the kitchen is still cooking most of the same things and maybe for a longer period of time now.

In closing, I would rather have a it in a sandwich than a burrito, this is England after-all not Latin America.

When did this disaster start selling Philly Cheesesteaks? How did I not notice this until now?

They’ve sold them for at least the past five years, probably longer. Frankly, in the realm of theme park cheesesteaks, the ones at Squire’s are some of the best I’ve found. The meat and melted provolone cheese (no Cheese Wiz here) are savory and flavorful, the roasted peppers and onions a zesty touch, and the roll crispy. Hands down my favorite food at Squire’s (though there isn’t much competition).

We just happened upon the cheesesteaks last Howl-o-Scream as we never really went into Squires previously due to the line. They are absolutely delicious.

Is that the plant based burger? Porbably use the same grill and utensils to cook it as the meat patty.

I tried their Impossible Burger, and I’d say it was decent when it was still warm, but they took too long, and it was almost cold by the time I got to my table. The flavor of the patty was believably meaty, but the texture was soft and mushy. As it got colder, any illusion of it being real meat disappeared.

The steamed bun and the other ingredients were perfect, as were the fries (better than Chick-fil-A’s waffle fries, in my opinion), but I think I’ll order a regular burger in the future.

We ate at Squire's tonight. And I was surprised at how good the food was. I had a turkey burger and it was really good.

The down side is, is that since it's made to order (unless you order a normal/bacon cheeseburger) it takes forever to get your food. Which isn't optimal in a quick service restaurant.

And while I'm sure it's 100% possible to get a plain hamburger, they don't have it listed on the menu. Everything burger related pretty much all comes with cheese on it.

We noticed that Squire’s stopped giving the lettuce, tomato and pickle along with the burgers unless one specifically asks for it, and even then they behave like they doing you a favor.
It’s right there on the menu that the burger comes with it. Quite annoyed that they think they don’t at least have to ask if we want them.

Oh god, I legitimately H A T E this. Those two menu items? They're both dictated directly by corporate. Here you can see all of the SeaWorld parks announcing the same items with the same photos the other week.

Is really standardizing menus or adding a few limited time items to all parks? If this is step one in homogenizing BGW's menu then, yes, it would be a big step in the wrong direction; otherwise I would appreciate the novelty while it lasts.

Serious question: does BGW even have a chef anymore?
