It was there last week too. I just assumed 9/11. But perhaps it's something more...horsesboy said:There appeared to be either a police dog or a police dog in training in the park today. I wonder if this is a result of the events in nyc or just a coincidence
The current setup appears much more efficient in moving people through it. Maybe the solution is to keep it in place for busy days but setup a small one back by the gate for less bust times.I don't get why the security checkpoint hasn't been moved back down to the main gate yet.
On Tuesday they only had one metal detector by the main gatesI don't know if it's just because it's an extremely slow day or if this is permanent but security screening is back down the hill today. The one by the parking lot and tram stop is still setup minus two metal detectors so it's possible they switch out where the are doing it based on crowds
I don't know what company he was with but I had a conversation with a third party safety auditor at BGW in 2019. I met him and his family by chance waiting for train and it just came up didn't get or don't remember any details other then he did the audit in the AM and was enjoying a summer visit with his family in the PM but I do know he was a third party auditor.IROC does what you may call the "base" ride training, or things that more or less apply to all rides. Individual rides still have nuances (such as what doors to use in an emergency) that the park will decide. Busch never used them while I was there and I doubt they use them now due to how much time and energy they spent on developing their own curriculum. The rules I mentioned were definitely made internally, due to incidents that occurred during the seasons I was in that area of the park. Now back to WWC.
Yes, and they do bring in people like that from time to time, though I have heard many guests make claims like that over the years. Don't even get me started on the "FRA Inspector" that decided railroad had to shut down. My original comments were on the actual training of employees by a third party. While I was there, all training was internal and not based on any 3rd party curriculum. All ride training was developed by the park and the ride vendors.I don't know what company he was with but I had a conversation with a third party safety auditor at BGW in 2019. Was it this one:So last night surfing Youtube and ran across a park video so I gave it a watch. In the video they said that the row of guests behind them lit and was smoking something going up the lift hill......guests now suck and so do the tema members who allow this to happen.

No but also buying things last year has come with greatly extended lead time for somethings. If they were not able to get new portable/retractable queues for 6+ months due to supply issues but could get used ones from another source albeit branded........is that really that awful?Yep....also I like the Frontier Airlines retractable queue things they are using in the park......does BGW shop at thrift stores now?
