Finally seeing a teaser! Thank goodness. So excited to see what they do throughout the season for teasing.
The park should focus on major TLC across the park for 2026. The Nighthawk pond needs to be addressed, it's current state is embarrassing. Thrill Zone also is in desperate need of new life. If SFEC has the cash to spend, dropping a large thrill flat where Drop Tower was would be a great addition for 2026, and consolation for the delay.
Timber Hallow was trademarked alongside Rip Roarin' Falls, so I could see that being the name of this new themed area.
Really hoping they reverse course on the scaled-back version, and invest in the path connection to Carousel Park, and new restaurant. This would allow for a much nicer guest experience when approaching the park's prime headliner, as well as showing off the shiny new attraction on the way.
The original plans clearly showed a desire to have more of a "park" like setting, with spaces and side paths to relax and take a breather. The landscaping in the plans looked phenomenal. By comparison, the new plan is just a wide promenade with a dead end at the ride's entrance.
Constructing a full new area would also allow the existing Carousel Park to receive major construction work in the future without disrupting park operations. Vortex is unlikely to be operating by the time Rip Roarin' Falls' opens, and the prime spot for the next coaster is clearly the Nighthawk / Vortex plot in Thunder Road / Celebration Plaza / Carousel Park.
