If you are looking for reasons to shit on BGW you will surely find them - and/or make them up. Maybe go shit on another park/ride for a bit and give us a breather?
Who said I was “looking for reasons to shit on BGW”? I was merely pointing out that the spokesman’s statement doesn’t necessarily refute @horsesboy’s reporting.

In fact, you’ll notice in my initial post that I said I didn’t blame BGW and would do the same thing if I were in their shoes. That’s hardly “shitting” on them. But I understand that reading can be hard when one is under the delusion that people have some sort of anti-BGW agenda.

And what was it in the video that gave you even greater confidence? Since we've all seen the video surely you can share? Or are you just throwing stuff out there to make the park look bad?

Confirming what in the video matches with what my sources said was talked about in a conversation that included budget cuts would make it extremely easy for someone to go who was in the meeting where we talked about X and it's relation to Y cuts. So it's not going to happen. But I will be even more clear there is an item mentioned in this video that 100% matches what I was told was being discussed when the subject came up.

As for wanting to shit on the park no I don't want to do that. I have enjoyed the park for many years possibly a little less in recent years then 7 to 10 years ago but I still do enjoy it. On top of that I have gotten to know several current a former employees significantly well and count them as friends. I will admit I am critical of many things that the park has done in recent history but that comes directly from a love for it and a belief that it is a shadow of it's past glory and a desire to see it return to that.

I just find it funny that the so-called experts will go out of their way to "report" some kind of budget cuts to make this ride sound like it's going to be a disappointment and not even give any concrete evidence. And this is coming from a couple of folks with fancy titles, so I guess that makes what they say gospel 😂😂😂 thanks for the insider info

This ride looks sick! Looks like the park is going all out for the 50th and keeping up the momentum after LNM! Can't wait for '26 and beyond!

Thank you for admitting you are not a current employee. That is a big deal. Cuz you frequently sound like you have some kind of insider info about BBW2 but now we know that is not the case. Good job protecting your so-called "sources" tho. Is there someone on here we should be giving more credence to? Aka someone with actual knowledge?

Even if @horsesboy was a current employee, why would they choose to admit that on here? The park actively reads this forum, so any employees that ARE on this forum aren’t going to outright say it.
not even give any concrete evidence.
I hate to break it to you, but the evidence that’s in question here can’t be leaked without putting someone else’s job on the line. The reason that evidence hasn’t been shared is because of that. There are several people on this forum that have connections/sources that could/may have corroborated this information, but due to said information likely only being officially known by a few people higher up, that information can’t be shared publicly.

Perhaps this thread will be of use. It explains how we handle our sources on this site.

I have never claimed to work for the park and for the record I am not currently nor have I ever been employed by them.

As for why people should believe that I might know something about this project umm well for starters if you check back through the post I called that the project was going to involve the boneyard way back when all we had was a height balloon and no one else was looking at that direction. I since have made several other correct reports on the project.

I will also say again I don't have a 100% confirmation on cuts but that it came from TWo separate sources that have very reliable track records.

I am not going to tell you or anyone else that you have to believe it that up to each individual but you asked why I believe what I said and I have laid out the case as best as I can without putting others at risk if you don't believe it that is fine but your post seem to be increasingly combative for no apparent reason.

Horseboy - thank you. The overtly childish level of condescension in some of these comments is borderline unacceptable, and exceedingly tiresome,

This is a theme park forum, not a Congressional inquisition.

My latest update I cover that they are now working on installing the track that swoops right by the village. They are also painting some of the village structures too

Wow. It looks so immersive! That church looks AWESOME - I'm sure it'll play into the story somehow given the videos

Very promising! That village section should be really cool, it's not all that high off the ground so I'm hopeful for the speed through there.

Also, these spans between columns are kinda crazy:

Specifically this angle of the twisty double-down bit, it's effectively 4 supports for the entire thing. Good ol' engineering😍

I do wonder - with that bit super close to the ground, they're gonna have to dig a trench, right? There's no way that'll be able to fit trains in that tiny gap

It's not combative unless you are choosing to interpret it that way. It is not unreasonable to question assertions which are in effect placing doubt in the minds of the people here who are following the developments of the BBW2 construction. So yes I have questions when someone professing to have inside knowledge about budgetary considerations throws out a bombshell regarding budget cuts to the ride. It's called due diligence

And no it's not a congressional hearing (those are far less useful ha!) But obviously lots of us take news of the ride seriously. So it's perfectly within the realm of this conversation to ask where certain "info" is coming from. Basically, why should any of us take anything any of the so-called experts say for fact? Horsesboy generally does a good job of being neutral but I could just as easily state I have inside info about this and that ride. Anybody could literally make up anything they wanted under the banner of anonymous sources. So how will we ever know if these assertions about budget cuts to BBW2 were true? And how do we know the end result will be different from the "original" plan? Seems very obvious people claiming to know what's going on with BBW2 or it's development may not actually know that much at all...

*ps I tried to do the multi-quote thing, haven't figured it out just yet*
As someone who has to deal with this on other forums, why does it matter so much? Just let it be. If it can be proven you'll know, if it can't we'll find out later.
