All I was saying is B&M is a great choice to bring back Big Bad Wolf. Obviously they are not the same as RMC nor is this coaster an RMC. I have followed BGW long enough to know that their next coaster after BBW2 will be a banger. Quote me on that

If you watch the video someone asked in the Q&A, what’s the price of the project and the answer from the BGW guy was “North of $20M”.

Not entirely surprising. The cost of construction alone for this order of magnitude was likely more than half of that. Combined with design costs, surveying costs, materials/manufacturing of track and cars... $20M seems about right. Also remember Verbolten, although a much larger scale of a coaster, cost $54M in 2012, which would be over $75M in todays dollars.

After the confirmation here that all thematic elements are staying. Seems what Horseboy was saying doesn't hold water?

Not downing you lol but apparently all is good there.

I said I heard of late budget cuts I theorized that theming was the most likely. For the record I still believe it's highly likely that there have been cuts to the ride. Parks also normally won't publicly acknowledge a cut. See Raptera's show building for example we only knew it was cut because of leaked plans that showed it. Same with Pantheon's original plaza design.

Sorry to derail the thread. I assume this is what you're referencing (screengrabs from the "leaked" animated POV). Were there actual plans/documents that showed something similar to this was planned, and then later cut? Or is this the only lead on that concept? I ask because I still believe that scenery was simply created for purposes of the animation (which was almost certainly not supposed to be made public).

The current, bland station is one thing. But I don't wanna blame the park for 'cutting' this theming/scenery when it may have never been planned by them.

If they had to take artistic liberties to fill in the gaps in their animation of the ride concept because it was too open and bland, maybe that should have been a sign that what was actually planned to be constructed was too open and bland

What specifically did you hear about? Surely when you heard about the cuts they were in reference to something specific? Theming...ok, what specifically?

Good question.

crazy theory time: what if they make this a mini-land and bring back the Grimm’s Hollow theme that predated land of the dragons? A flat ride or two, maybe a quick service restaurant, and some meet and greets all themed to the brothers Grimm fairytales. I can see the archway they used to put the HoS signs on be used as a gateway in. Gives me an idea for a concept post.
