Status as of today. A considerable amount of dirt has been moved a new small shipping container is on site and it appears rebar is being preset for foundation work. Most of the work is currently behind the old DK maintenance building and hard to see right now.

Footers are being installed in the old boneyard. There has been a fair amount of dirt removed they seem to be enlarging the hill between the site and Verbolten as a spot to drop the dirt removed from the work. Pictures from Verbolten were taken with a park approved Gopro mount in full compliance with park rules.

That is T3 track from Kentucky Kingdom and has nothing to do with Holtzfaller. Feel free to continue conversation here:

Massive plot twist… PRKS needed to add a new coaster to BGW but in order to save money, they are actually the mystery buyer of T3. The shareholders are gonna love it!

Darkoaster was teased first in Spetember, right? That's 9 months before it actually opened, so if they follow the darkoaster schudeule, they do tease fairly early, but this is, from the looks of it, a WAY bigger project, so it might be much longer.
The first teaser for Darkoaster was in the beginning of June.

Also construction pics from today.

I'm actually surprised by the apparent lack of disturbance to the site thus far. Normally there'd be a lot more clearing for laying foundations. There are a handful of footers nearing completion and even the grass surrounding them is still there. I was thinking more something like InvadR clearing that was going to happen and then replanting. But, it looks like they're keeping a big chunk of existing foliage. Obviously more will have to come out on the boneyard side but I'm happy trees are sticking around.

It sounds like Phoenix Rising is more intense than you would expect. If this is another one of those surprisingly intense family coasters along with theming and on board audio this ride could turn out a lot more fun than initially anticipated.
I personally disagree. I’m nostalgic for Drachen Fire, and I believe the park still needs a halo insane attraction. Giga, RMC Hybrid, Something. I’m bored and burnt out. Looking like a 2025 KD pass is the move.
