As long as the budgets aren't cut, it definitely won't be lightly themed. Current plans are VERY thematically robust.

Wasn't that supposed to be the case for Pantheon?

Granted, the pandemic may have had a lot to do with that vs. now, but with as much focus on ROI as there is these days I wouldn't be too surprised if someone in accounting made a good fiscal case to scale back all but the core attraction itself... Again.

However, as you've suggested, perhaps love-bombing their various communications channels with how much Nessie's new thematic elements make it a better ride alongside actually riding it regularly (and getting more people to experience it as well), they'll have more than just basic ROI calculations to consider.

Pantheon's theming was already cut well before this point in its development process—and well before COVID hit.

Still plenty of time for big scenic cuts over the coming months (DarKoaster is the correct parallel for that) but, unlike with Pantheon, Holzfäller's theming has at least made it to the public submittal process.

Hard to see in some of these but marking and survey work is still ongoing today.

Can't say it's coaster related for sure but this Semi and an accompanying crane just showed up at BGW.

Edit now hearing it may be food and wine uninstall related.

Guess China is getting a suspended B&M of some kind, then. Maybe one of those Legoland family inverts caught on?

Undeniably amusing that the red track is going overseas, and the grey supports we saw are going to KD😂

I see everyone eye rolling/disliking, but it’s possible that if it isn’t a B&M, it could be why we haven’t seen any new B&M track show up at Clermont yet. So I wouldn’t be doubting them. Not saying it’s impossible, but wouldn’t the track have at least already started being manufactured already if it’s a B&M family Invert for 2025? There is also the possibility of this maybe being a Vekoma SFC too.

Oh that's also entirely possible. I was tempted to react with an eye-roll at the notion of this being a thrill coaster of any kind, as allllllll the discussion and information (such as the plans that were filed :p) have all pointed to this being some sort of family coaster.

I don't think they'll do much there since that's the way it was 30 years ago for Drachen Fyre when AB was still running the show.
