I read a lot of reviews about it being forceless and unaccommodating, but 🤷‍♂️
Forceless - I mean, yea it's a family coaster. It more glides rather than hard banks. I think what I would say is rather than being forceless it was 'free flowing' in that there was no hard transitions. One of my thoosie friends made that same "forceless" comment, and I asked why they expected forces like that and the statement was "well it's suspended" and I countered with what about compared to a family coaster and they said it feels a little more like what they would expect.

Unaccommodating - I would chalk that up to needing something that fits a huge swath of people. It's one of the few area's I think S&S kicked B&M's ass with is MM's restraints do fit me much better.

I think the added length with the second lift is going to give WR the ability to have more capacity and will really help with some of the perception. I also think the 700 extra feet of track means more elements will make the ride more exciting.
@Zachary, Do you know if there will be a second train since it's longer with a second lift?

Phoenix Rising to me is what BGT needed, something for smaller riders, though I haven't had the chance to ride yet. The issue of 1 train and low capacity is disappointing. Thank goodness we will have 2.

Also As for the “why wasn’t Wolf going up yet” I am assuming B&M was also probably waiting to finish Phoenix Rising at the Tampa park before construction could begin, also probably trying to see how that ride went over with the crowd and gives them a chance to work out any bugs before moving on to a new project.

This is not the case.

As I previously stated, BBW2 was a last minute order for B&M. They have four other roller coaster to build next year and those were all ordered for production before BBW2. B&M is not gonna wait for one project to finish in order to start another, especially since Phoenix Rising wasn't their first family inverted as they previously had built two in China at the Happy Valley parks in Shanghai and Beijing.

I know @Nicole doesn't have Dragonflier and I have neither credit. That said, I can guarantee you the answer is (likely very) unfavorably.

Per CaptainCoaster, Phoenix Rising has a score of 33.1% and is ranked #1160 in the world vs Dragonflier with a score of 60.4% and a rank of #628.
I can say from personal experience, Dragonflier is fun but very much a ride for kids. From what I can tell from povs etc, Phoenix Rising is noticeably faster, more variation on the turns, longer duration. The layout leaves much to be desired imo, however. WR looks to take it a step further and appeal to an even wider audience. More of an event. *fingers crossed*

All quiet on the western front...with the exception of horsesboy's great pics! Glad we have shut down the Dragonflier comparisons...this coaster will be far and away better in every regard.

I heard that everyone showed up at 11:40 only to be told they were supposed to print a voucher out at the entrance of the convention center and then bring it to the booth for a preview. Oh well
That’s not what I heard. I heard you had to print a voucher at the entrance, bring it to the IAAPA sales booth, trade the printed voucher in for another voucher, and then bring it to the B&M booth.
