I don't know if this belongs on the right thread, but I came across a music video of a very interesting song that was made specifically for it, carefully listen to the lyrics

is this the leaked onboard audio? (just kidding)

Yes, just as BGW named Loch Ness Monster "The Loch Ness Monster: The Legend Lives On" or DarKoaster "DarKoaster: Escape the Storm." There is a crystal clear pattern of BGW using subtitles in marketing that are not reflected in-park or even post-attraction-debut. It is super reasonable to assume the same will happen here.

Furthermore, there's no evidence to suggest that BGW is naming their 2025 coaster "The Wolf's Revenge." BGW has yet to identify the coaster as "The Wolf's Revenge" anywhere—it has only been used in conjunction with the primary title. I desperately want them to change the name to "Wolf's Revenge," but, as of right now, the park's own website has already referred to the coaster by its actual name minus the subtitle, "The Big Bad Wolf."

BGW named it "The Big Bad Wolf."

You can find me exclusively calling it "Wolf's Revenge" in the months and years ahead but, unfortunately, we can't legitimately retcon the poor decision BGW actually made. Hopefully they will change it as @warfelg suggested, but, right now, it's, supposedly, "The Big Bad Wolf."

The recent pattern on names is unfortunate. Hell, BürgerMONSTER's Hideaway is more fun than most anything else so far. I don't mind Loch Ness Monster "The Loch Ness Monster: The Legend Lives On" considering it is the same ride, revitalised.

I agree on your point here on "Wolf's Revenge" as well. When life gives you lemons...

Bitter about what?? Ya gotta be kidding me...this thread is 50% being bitter about Busch Gardens' every move, and I'm the bitter one? All I did was express an opinion and I was actually referencing something Zachary mentioned about KD possibly trolling BG with the name choice.
That’s how they roll here. Three guys who barely get off the couch think they know how best to run an amusement park.

I hate to break it to you, but there are people on this site who have or currently do work for the parks, whether in the park, management, corporate, etc. myself included. I will not disclose where, but I do. We may not know the best way to run a park, but those of us who have worked/do work for a park know their respective park and what they are/aren’t willing to do. And to keep this thread on track—BGW could’ve chosen literally any of the like 15 different names that were thought of here—but they went with arguably the absolute worst option. BGW can absolutely do way better—but the current people in marketing are, and pardon my French, absolute dumbasses who are running around like a chicken with its head cut off.

Unfortunately we can’t do anything about it, but the park is advertising this as “The Big Bad Wolf” and not “The Wolf’s Revenge”. This ride will not live up to the wolf’s legacy no matter how hard they try. The Wolf’s Revenge would be a better name purely because it indicates that it’s not the original ride, which the name they chose implies that.

So for those who are wondering why we are negative on this, this is due to the fact we have SEEN BGW do better. The park simply just isn’t putting in the effort. So yeah, we’re upset.

Anyways, back to Big Bad 2.

1000021785.jpg I am unbelievable ridiculously to tired from just finishing an extremely long work week and need help. A fellow follower er of ours sent us this last night and can not tell what it is for. Could it be for bbw? Also location of photo is unknown right now.

This is Vekoma (Tilt coaster) track, and that truck is going to Cedar Point. The picture was taken on I-35 in Waco, TX (plus the Texas license plate).

None of the people on this site claim to know all the ins and outs of the operation of an amusement park. Every post I make is just my two cents, because I really don't know much more than anyone else. In fact, we're all just the "general public," just ordinary people that enjoy the park. And posting here is just sharing a perspective on what we think works best, as one person in millions that visits the park every year. That's what this whole site is, just opinions people can build off of.

Construction update from today. As I speculated this weekend the vertical Construction we saw earlier is definitely the maintenance shed. Interestingly there is a significant Ibeam arch that seems to be around the station exit for the track. This opens the possibility of something hanging over the track as you start the ride. The village construction seems to be going pretty rapidly but I see no signs of track or support movement so far. I may have further developments after I download my gopro footage and look to see what I might have caught from higher vantage point.

The columns behind the station are not the storage shed. They are support for the block brake at the end of the ride alongside the shed at a slight angle.

Maybe keep that in mind when responding to other people’s opinions then, just my nickel.

I’m a long time fan/lurker of this thread and have limited knowledge of the mechanics and limitations of different types of coasters, so please forgive my potentially ignorant question 😅

Is it completely out of the realm of possibility that the cars will have at least a slight swing to them? Again…I am still learning about how these things work but from what I have read it kinda sounds like as long as there’s no loops it could be made possible. Sorry if that sounds stupid and please feel free to ELI5 if i have this completely wrong 😂

I just think if they’re gonna basically market it as a sequel to BBW it should at least have a little bit of swing. It would also make me feel a little better about the name choice lol

Also I’m sorry if this has been covered in previous posts. I’ve been subscribed to this thread for a while so it’s very possible I’ve missed or even forgotten that I’ve already seen info I’m looking for
