Another framing pic from yesterday. I also noticed about six "I" beams standing straight up just off the end of the station building. They are in two rows of three and were kind of hidden by the fence. I wanted to get more pictures but I had to leave unexpectantly.

I mentioned to a friend about BGW's name choice for this coaster, and their response was, "oh, that's weird, why would they do that?" At this point it's not even about coming up with a good name. It's just so dumb to "remake" a coaster that's already been done before. Like, this isn't the same as BBW. It might be the same concept, but it's not the same thing. It's not even on the same plot of land. Sure, Big Bad Wolf is a cool name. But it's not the name of this new attraction. The Big Bad Wolf was removed from the park in 2009. Sorry Busch Gardens, not following your logic at all. Maybe I'm just too narrow-minded to understand.

Big Bad 2 is honestly better at this point. We just need a name. Even ChatGPT agrees today.

Wolf's Revenge. Not that complicated

So relieved to finally see those brown supports onsite!
It's looks like a good color! Not too dark so the red track will still pop. Are we thinking black trains with yellow embellishments?

Here are my current construction photos. I feel quite confident in my earlier statement that the poles sticking up are related to the maintenance building and not track work. That said there are a few track pieces that are staged and ready to be installed as well as a handful of supports sitting in the construction area. I have several reports from trusted sources that lift hill track is on site and interestingly was shipped in containers from overseas. Remember we are probably only looking at one more week of easy to obtain pictures of the site as Christmas Town will see a return of the express and round trip night rides only on the train.

I personally am glad that BGW decided to go straightforward with this...Wolf's Revenge, there you have it. Rather than trying to go with some wonky name like Pantherian. What does that even mean?? Lol. I mean obviously they're trying to upstage the crowd-pleasing Pantheon...not gonna happen KD. Try again

Is it called The Big Bad Wolf or Wolf's Revenge? Wolf's Revenge really feels like a subtitle to me. If they could just slash off the The Big Bad Wolf part, I do agree with @mcmehler, it would be a somewhat (marginally) original name then. Unfortunately we're stuck with no real name for this thing and BGW thinks they can bring us back 15 years and relive old BGW. Wolf's Revenge isn't what they chose for the name; they didn't choose a name.

I hear you guys' frustration. Just not sure there's any other name that would've done the legacy of Big Bad Wolf justice. Point blank, there will only ever be one Big Bad Wolf and Busch Gardens owns that forever and all-time in the annals of coaster history. It was not the perfect ride, but it was damn near close and it certainly lives close to my own heart (I think it's the only coaster I got both my Mom AND my Grandma on haha...memories) although Grandma did ride DaVinci's Cradle with me and almost pissed herself (her words 🤣). What I'm trying to say is...Big Bad Wolf will live on long after this ride has come and gone. I'm thinking of Wolf's Revenge as another way to say Chapter 2. Long live the Wolf in the hearts and minds of everyone blessed to visit the park. But I agree with you guys and would be totally supportive if they just shortened it to The Wolf's Revenge

Not everyone knows the history of the ride, either. So at the very least it's a gateway for newcomers or those with no knowledge of the original to at least go back and see what it was like. I'm just glad there's some somewhat decent ride videos on Youtube

BGW named it "The Big Bad Wolf."

You can find me exclusively calling it "Wolf's Revenge" in the months and years ahead but, unfortunately, we can't legitimately retcon the poor decision BGW actually made. Hopefully they will change it as @warfelg suggested, but, right now, it's, supposedly, "The Big Bad Wolf."
They named it "The Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf's Revenge" since you wanna get technical and start giving people's opinions thumbs down. Accuracy, facts, and perspective used to count for something.

Zachary and Nicole why are you guys giving this post thumbs down? It's a straightforward opinion. Personal attacks much? Be nice if the admins had a little more discretion. I don't thumbs down ya'lls rants about various off-subject topics you choose to interject...

Thumbs down is simply a reaction. It's not a sign of hatred, it's a sign of respectful disagreement.

Admins are entitled to their opinions, and giving a post a thumbs down is a valid response to an opinion someone doesn't like.

Be nice if the admins had a little more discretion.

Why not, if we wanted an echo chamber we'd be Reddit Mods or run a Facebook Community.

Ok...again. why?

Because they wanted to.

Because tbh you're being bitter about it.

Also Pantherian by itself is fine. I don't think it's wonky. No, they're not trying to "upstage the crowd pleasing Pantheon." Not sure why you came to that conclusion.

Yes, just as BGW named Loch Ness Monster "The Loch Ness Monster: The Legend Lives On" or DarKoaster "DarKoaster: Escape the Storm." There is a crystal clear pattern of BGW using subtitles in marketing that are not reflected in-park or even post-attraction-debut. It is super reasonable to assume the same will happen here.

Furthermore, there's no evidence to suggest that BGW is naming their 2025 coaster "The Wolf's Revenge." BGW has yet to identify the coaster as "The Wolf's Revenge" anywhere—it has only been used in conjunction with the primary title. I desperately want them to change the name to "Wolf's Revenge," but, as of right now, the park's own website has already referred to the coaster by its actual name minus the subtitle, "The Big Bad Wolf."

Bitter about what?? Ya gotta be kidding me...this thread is 50% being bitter about Busch Gardens' every move, and I'm the bitter one? All I did was express an opinion and I was actually referencing something Zachary mentioned about KD possibly trolling BG with the name choice.
