Probably because I'd rather have a better InfinityMore quality flats improves a parks overall value. I would love to go to Canada's Wonderland because of all their rare and interesting flats like Sledgehammer. If they build an infinity coaster and utilize the space for flats as well what is there to complain about?
put some flats were volcano was & then take down anaconda for a new coaster lol

I hope KD gets a Disk'o Coaster like Pipe Scream at Cedar Point so we can debate all offseason whether it's a coaster or flat ride.
^there seems to be a lot of enthusiasts out there that are like "HUGE EXTREME COASTERS CONSTANTLY BY RMC/INTAMIN" and if they don't receive that then it's a lame disappointment. I've taken on the approach that anything that adds "value" or "fun" to a park to me is a something to be happy about when there's a lot of parks out there that almost never receive capital investment. Looking at the bottom half of the Cedar Fair chain which I am glad KD seems to be ahead of.
Not to go too far off topic, but I did find a case where KD used "mid-Atlantic" this season at: Join us March 30th as we kick off our 2019 season in style! Enjoy the return of your favorite coasters including Twisted Timbers, our new hybrid roller coaster and the first of its kind in the mid-Atlantic.
And that's how they marketed Intimidator 305 back in 2010: Kings Dominion introduces tallest coaster in Mid-Atlantic (even though Kingda Ka at 456' is in NJ)
I'd gladly trade it all for Canada's Wonderland to be my home park. I'd shut up about Verbolten being an unworthy replacement for the Big Bad Wolf I never got to ride, if I had the next-best-thing-and-maybe-better-now Vortex to ride all I wanted. Pizza Pizza is also in the upper tier of amusement park pizza.I feel like your "personal hell" would be living close to Canada's Wonderland.
Why do those (and go-karts) still exist in admission-ticketed amusement parks? That's what family amusement centers are for.You know what is KD is severely lacking that Caro has? A mini golf course and laser maze.
