From the other thread showing perhaps half the volcano remaining....could we be possibly looking at a "Wonder Mountain" coaster/4D interactive dark ride? The "Guardian/Zombies 4D" package perhaps altered to a more jungle/Africa theme.

I wonder if they are opening up the back so that they can pour a new floor and then add on a larger backside... So scale it up. If it went back as far as the track and up proportionally it would become a fairly large indoor space. Perfect for a great set of dark flats! (what I REALLY want it to become. Scrambler in the dark is AMAZING!)

I think that would be a unique idea Zimmy. While the mountain has housed multiple rides and flats before volcano’s time, I think that it could be done again very successfully. How cool would it be to have a newly remodeled mountain that acted almost as it’s own separate section inside of safari village. If done right it could house multiple flats and rides which would be a good addition to the park and a nice replacement for our old friend the blast coaster.

I know this is extremely far out there and just an idea, but how cool would it be for the drop tower to drop through the top of the volcano and a revamped flame like what was on volcano was added once the riders safely passed through.

Thank you! That is totally what I was getting at. A park within a park. However do i think it is going to happen? Not a chance. I just do not see CF putting that kind of investment into something like that. It just is not their style.

And a loud belch now comes from the speakers that use to rumble and set off an explosion as the Volcano train came out of the top. Sort of like "Joe and the Volcano". KD could make a killing selling orange crush drinks (it is what the natives loved to drink on the island).

The park of course already has a pretty nice drop down but tweaking your idea a little what about a tower the shoots you UP out of the Volcano. I know that they make small blast towers but have no clue what its would take to scale one up to giant size. Heck for all I know they already have one somewhere.

S&S still makes these. Standard size is about 125 ft but they have built them to over 300 feet. Thing is they become more boring the taller they are, so if they care any about the quality of the experience it shouldn't be shooting for any records.

Hmmm...Volcano with the remainder left as a front and an event building off the back? Maybe buy BGW's old CoDK cars, and make a "Monsters of the Sahara" indoor dark ride. Starts as a nice expedition seeing gazelles, and other gentle creatures. Then after running from a rhino herd, you start finding your way into the dark jungle, where gorillas, lions, and hyenas come attacking, all before the elephant herd come to take you to safety before the volcano destroys the area you were chased to.

Hire me KD! You need me.

Gotta admit, the idea of using the front volcano shell as a facade for a future attraction(s) is super intriguing.

A crazy idea could be that they build a big building and a dark ride and use the front of the Mountain as a facade just to hide it. Like at "Its a small world" at Disneyland.

I'm a little late to this party, but I want to point out that BGW was developing several concepts for the space occupied by The Big Bad Wolf before they officially announced it's closure and removal; one of which was a total overhaul and track replacement along with other concepts including the one the park actually got, Verbolten. I'm sure that CF was developing other ideas while they were activley attempting to repair Volcano.
