SeaWorld, and Sesame Place beg to differ, and that's within the same chain.
SeaWorld? Exhibits don’t count as theming. They’re separate.
SeaWorld has rides. Some damn good roller coasters as well. All of which are themed. Albeit not always the best.
Lot of you are confusing landscaping and design with theming
There are also levels of theming... it's not all or nothing. Tempesto is themed. InvadR is themed. Not on the level of say... Gringott's, but that doesn't mean they are to be discredited entirely.

C'mon @madmax , theming is the queue, the immediate surroundings, the sounds, the ambiance. entering and exiting the attraction...not every inch of the entire track. Everyone agrees Alpengeist is probably the best (or second best) themed attraction at BGW. So throwing some random a$$ pic like this...
and say "Wow this is some really excellent theming" is just a plain insult to everyone's intelligence. Why not just give up on this subject and start posting about something else you know very little about.

So by that logic, Incredible Hulk isn’t themed. Right?
Hulk’s queue and the launch tube are where the theming are.
Also... @Applesauce I literally said there’s not a park where EVERY SINGLE RIDE is themed. As in...there are parks that extensively theme some rides and don’t others, like Busch/SeaWorld.

I'm just say this regarding theming. Every ride at BGW except for rides like the catapult, skyride, trains and carousel have a backstory and some theming. I think the problem is that BGW sometimes doesn't go a good job at communicating the backstory so the theming makes sense.
That being said I do think that some of their recent effort have been hit or miss. Tempesto has decent theming but the theme makes ZERO sense. Invadr I feel they don't do a good job at communicating what they story is supposed to be. Verbolten is phenomenal. FF I'm waiting to see the final product before judgement. In general I feel like BGW makes and effort but lately they haven't succeeded in communication of the theme and backstory.

Back on to MMXX; I’m sort of getting a Cerēs vibe with the green background of the announcement. The god of agriculture would be a pretty cool theme and green track would be something new to the park.
And yeah I agree about theming execution there @BGWnut. Tempesto and Invadr definitely feel like filler attractions in that regard even though I really like both. I’m not expecting anything super immersive with 2020 but I can see some cool landscaping and props.

In the Intim305 recreation it looked like I'd be holding on pretty tight..
But ya know, that outward banked airtime hill is gonna be awesome.
