I think we are forgetting that we aren't talking about an addition to Six Flags or Cedar Fair, but something to Busch Gardens Williamsburg; a park that has only gotten the recognition it has for being beautiful and themed in the way it is.

So whether or not you personally care for theming at a regional park, or theming on a roller coaster, theming is an integral part to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, hence why it is always a hot discussion.

Lets talk about the supports! Everything I have seen points to intamin box supports or S&S. The profiling seems to mostly point to a ( |\ ) style over a ( /\ ) style. Zachary's updated layout is pretty close to what I'd expect, but also, the straight parts seem much further spread out than most of INT's other installs. I'll see if i can post pics later.

My guess is the ride will travel around 4000 or just under feet total (maybe like 3900). For reference Asterix is listed as 939 feet longer than the actual track length (3526 to 4465).

I didn't say you shouldn't care or talk about it. I said I don't care which is why I'm not talking about it.

Minor distinction.

It'll be interesting to see just how thematic they get, no matter the name. Based on the plans, that's a lot of area and structures. You've got the buildings (station, queue and train storage), entry plaza and bridge. Not to mention the lengthy queue line. I'm convinced we won't see anything "Verbolten-ish" but hopefully they'll do more than the Lowe's fence and stencils of Invadr.

I really want to express how poorly those mockups are but I also don't want to be called out on having to make one myself because I don't have the time. In NL2 it's really not that hard to do the transfer forwards/backwards/forwards launch correctly, it just requires a tiny amount of scripting.

Those colors though, ?

We have already seen signs of soil samples being taken. Hopefully this year we'll see some archeological surveys.
I would assume we'll see work on the river shores as indicated in the last RPA once the plan approval process proceeds. I'm guessing they have to address site runoff during the construction phase as well as for completion. If they're shooting for a May, 2020 opening, they'll probably start as soon as the plans gets approved.

You guys are killin’ me today!
I thought of the Poison song too when I read that post! And with all those elements, Belsaas, it sounds like one long Italian word.
Fecronimosi!

Word scramble- Cromoni in Italian are chromons or chromolyn I saw and FeSi (not Italian) is an alloy ferrosilicon or iron silicon.

I think we’re on to something.

Every time I hear this phrase I think of 80s glam metal with hair so big that it caused ozone depletion due to the excessive use of hairspray with flourocarbons.

being reminded of the error in music history that was hair metal seems a bit like a violation of the Geneva Convention.

It's weird how UK 70s Glam didn't suck. Slade were pretty good. Waterloo from ABBA is a Glam styled song, too. Anyhow...

Roller coasters!!!
During the dark age of American music, the UK was still producing good stuff. Here... we had Stryper... But yes...
ROLLER COASTERS! Clearly Project Madrid is collaboration between Anton Schwarzkopf and Aarow Dynamics.
