RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?

I truly need to start exploring things. Thanks for the info, I had no idea that there was a news forum.
This is one of the most highly organized and well thought out, and easy to navigate forums on the planet. There is a section for everything you could possibly imagine in the Industry. I can't fathom why someone wouldn't explore before posting.

Auto correct has me shook. I didnt even realize if corrected it to “plosible”.

Did you bother to check auto-correct before you posted this as well?

I quoted “plosible” because that’s what auto correct changed it to. Now let’s get back on topic.

When I type in "plosible" I get possible and pliable. Possible gets me plausible. Plosible isn't a word so I couldn't imagine auto correct turning a word into an incorrectly spelled word.

Yeah... I don't think you even understand. Your response itself was riddled with typos. Hence my post asking if you even bothered to check auto-correct before you posted your last response.

Now, I'm not one to derail a thread, but this thread was going no-where anyway so I really don't feel bad about this... It's really funny you're telling me of all people to get back on topic. And another thing... if you're only JUST NOW discovering that there are other sections of the forum, you really should probably look here and here.

RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?

I am curious about what system you are using for your auto correct as "plosible" isn't an English word. As far as "back on track"... Back on track to what exactly? This thread is a trainwreck where the only solid info we have is a height test, some filings which provide zero indication of what the ride actually is, and some markers which might not even be related. The rest of the thread is unsubstantiated rumor and wish fulfillment.

RE: Project Madrid: New Hamlet? Giga Coaster? 315' Tower?

Ok. Well that is enough of that.

If it's not about Project Madrid, it belongs elsewhere. If there is nothing to be said about Project Madrid, don't post here. Simple.

Everyone needs to remember that more people read this thread than any other thread on the forum right now. Each post makes an impression on lurkers. Don't scare people off. Be nice. Give people some slack. We still have years of this ahead of us.

I heard it confirmed today by the Festa train station operator, new hamlet just behind the station in the pastures. Named Madrid. Features a 315 for tall coaster!

There has been no activity on the Madrid project (case #HW-003-2017) on the James City County CaseTrak website since August 16, however there has been activity on two smaller projects. The DAS (digital antenna system)amendment, case #SP-0084-2017, was approved on 10-9-2017, while a Generator and Concrete Pad project, case#SP-0091-2017 was approved on 10-5-2017. There is also a New France Site Plan Amendment, case#SP-0077-2017, currently undergoing review. So, there are other things happening, just nothing in the Madrid area.

To be fair: these could all be projects intended to beef up the parks infrastructure for Project Madrid.

Its from January as a guess I would say it was related to Invadr given the access road location but that just a guess.

Good call. I was trying to figure out what was being done, but provisions of draining for the access road makes sense.

By clicking on the Engineering and Resources PDF, you can read the comments and summary of work, which states that is an amendment for demolition of a wood building and construction of 3 new buildings, sidewalks, site grading and minor stormwater improvements in New France. I would surmise that BG made some modifications to the original Invadr plan. Unfortunately, those plans (full drawings) aren't readily available online. Someone would need to go to the courthouse to get them.
