Ok, let's all take a deep breath..calm down. I think I have a happy medium we can all agree upon -
Well if the deer didn’t leak the PowerPoint we would not be In this predicamentI miss when it was all light hearted and we all worshipped an all-knowing deer
Alright. And I’m sorry I called you by your name.Madmax, I apologise for getting tempered with you in my recent post. Though I don't agree with a lot of what you say, it was wrong to post something with the context it held for everybody to see. It has since been deleted.
To be fair, how many Inverts have an actual airtime hill? Couple that with the fact that it may actually kill you, and I could see this being a decent thrill.Plus we can all agree anything BGW builds will be better than the first generation, Beijing Shibaolai Amusement Equipment-made knockoff of a Vekoma SLC, right?
...Anyway. I'm wasting everyone's time.
Verbolten introducing the drop track to North America certainly counts - and so would introducing a switch track spike to North America.Ok, I'm an old guy. Pretty traditional overall. But (and it's a big but) I always loved BGW because, when it came to coasters, they pushed the envelope.
Loch Ness - tallest, fastest and only interlocking loop.
Apollo - First ever B&M hyper (the "goose in the face" effect fortunately cancelled)
BBW - First successful suspended coaster
Alpengeist - World's tallest complete circuit inverted coaster
Tempesto - (I got nuttin')
Only airtime machines.(Besides, coasters are good for getting rid of kidney stones)
We all keep assuming that SeaWorld doesn't know what they're talking about when they call this a "shuttle coaster." We keep assuming it has a multi-part lauch like Soaring with Dragon and SeaWorld is just confused in their terminology.
What if the slide is telling the truth? What if it is an actual shuttle coaster and the spike is at the end of the course? Imagine a Soaring with Dragon-like layout that you complete both forwards and backwards.
A true shuttle coaster would be quite a bit different than Tempesto. And truthfully, I'm big fan of Mr. Freeze. I blame the bad reputation shuttle coasters tend to have on Vekoma Boomerangs. Maybe it's time for someone like Intamin to build a truely great shuttle coaster...?
I know this idea is a longshot, but I am trying to think outside the box here to make sure we don't ignore anything that could be possible
I've never seen any official comments regarding Project Madrid or what may be built. The closest I've seen is an indirect reference to the entire company wide "leak package" in a recent tweet that said "Yep, you could say we're ready to knock your socks off. Stay tuned for even more park updates!"They did say it would be a ground-breaking attraction. Or something like that.
