General Information:

"Project Drachen Spire," is a community-generated identifier for the Intamin-made, multi-launch, shuttle giga coaster that was originally slated to open at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 2021. The attraction is planned to utilize the currently-vacant land behind Verbolten, Festhaus Park—the former home of Drachen Fire.

The coaster's main layout—as leaked before the addition was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic—featured two launches, two spikes (one spiral, one vertical-ish), and a couple of banked turns. Drachen Spire was designed to run two trains by means of a pair of switch tracks connecting the primary, shuttle portion of the layout to the station platform.

"Lattice" all calm down a bit. ?

I think the key to the next set of "I overheard"/"the Dippin' Dots guy said"/"the train guy told a deer” educated guesses will be the FAA filing. If you recall from the MMXX thread, usually there's 1 waiver filed with JCC (although they did 2 with final plan submission) and 1 for each 200ft+ element with the FAA. Fury 325 has a second hill of 190. With this one 30ft taller you'd assume a second element 10ft higher; thus perhaps a second filing (if they use all the height they've asked).

Yikes the justifications for a giga are outstanding. I'm not talking the traditional supporting so maybe I should MS paint what I was pointing out.

Does that do it?

Here, better example.

Note: I'm just providing alternatives to evidence that is brought forth, because we have enough threads of 150+ page discussions leading to perpetual disappointment. Lower your expectations some.

Images wont upload for me for some reason but i305 and Millenium Force both have lattice style supports on the lift....
Big stretch after MMXX but Intamin Giga?

Give it a moment, the second image is gigantic.

EDIT: Also if we're still going on this road...

Yep, MMXX will already have a launch and top hat. That's a distinctive enough feature that two in the same park would be redundant.
100% agree. I wouldn't have been disappointed with a ride that like prior to MMXX but now it would just seem redundant. Especially back to back

2 top hats, 1 park. Shame one had a habit of derailing.
To be fair, one of those top hats was an inversion while the other isn't. And if we get a Red Force with a little more, it could justify its existence by having an inside top hat to be the world's highest inversion. Still would rather have something else as BGW's next coaster than a top hat coaster.

I don't know, it just feels very un-Busch Gardens to build an Intamin Accelerator. I know Red Force is LSM but I believe I've still heard its pretty unreliable. I don't think BGW is enough of a record-hoe kind of company to do that kind of thing.

Dang straight brother! If this turns out to be as intense as Lightning Rod or i305 than that ride time isn't bothering me at all!

After doing some quick measurements in Google Earth, Intimidator 305 takes about 8 acres, Millenium Force 12, Fury 325 10, Leviathan 10. Busch has 8 acres in Festhaus Park and 13 if we remove the boneyard. Go across the river behind the train and MMXX and keep the boneyard and we are looking around 14. These are VERY quick measurements but I think there is more than enough room.
