Even still one person won't have an adverse affect on the swing mechanics of the ride. If you intentionally put most of the weight on one end of the arm, be it side or row, it fundamentally changes the forces of the swing itself and can cause a few things to happen.

Notably:
  • Torquing and Twisting of the swing arm (if majority of weight is put on one side of the arm)
  • Overswinging and improper parking (if majority of weight is put in just one of the rows)

Now can we please drop the passive aggressiveness?

I like your choice in phone. I see you are cultured.

:)

I do wonder what this contest means for a potential soft opening this weekend. Will they soft open before this or wait for the contest wieners.?

They are soft opening this weekend. Most likely Saturday and Sunday from what I'm being told.

If you had told me in 2005 that fifteen years later BGW would have...

  • A major flat ride in Killarney
  • His Royal Majesty Prince Elmo (& Pals)
  • A coaster in Aquitaine
  • A coaster in New France
  • A coaster literally right up against Apollo's lift
  • A freaking INTAMIN MULTI-LAUNCH

...I would have thought you were nuts. For better or worse, so much has changed!

I haven't been to the park since 2002 and when I came back in 2015 a lot did change. It's amazing what this park has gone through in over a decade and the additions have been very interesting ones. Can't wait to ride Finnegan's Flyer, this one is going to be fun with a capital "F".

Oh and there is a photo of the sign uncovered and it looks fantastic!
