Interesting factoid: These can do 1 arm operations as each side is treated as an individual operation. For various reasons too. Cleaning from...a mess. Repairs to one side. Frankly just slow operations.
But I assume even for cleaning or repairs no one can be on the deck while just one side runs?

Has there been any release by the park as far as height requirements for FF? The ride page on the website just says the ride type of extreme swing and high thrills but no height is listed.

I'm hearing that it will soft open this coming weekend. I'm hoping to get a more specific timing but it will be this coming weekend.

Awesome, and exactly what I was hoping for. I'll be there Saturday and Sunday.

I don’t think that’s a feature unique to Finnegan’s Flyer. Doesn’t Barnstormer have that capability too?

Correct. Warfelg mentioned it earlier but the screaming swings are designed so that they can run only one arm when necessary. This allows the ride to still be open if a repair needs to be made to one arm or if for any other reason you need to close one arm.
