RE: Project 2015: Premier Rides Coaster for Festa Italia
I really can't help but be more and more disheartened by the ever increasing spiral that BGW has been on for the better part of four or five years. They give me just enough to hope that things will get better, that the magic will return to BGW. I can say that I've at least enjoyed some things the park has done in the last few years, particularly Verbolten, which I think is a wonderful little ride. But then the park likes to belt me with something absolutely befuddling, something that makes me say, "No, BGW really has changed."
I just can't abide a park that produces something like this. This looks like an utter train wreck and a desecration of everything that BGW used to be. BGW used to be a park that I always wanted to take my kids to someday, to see them experience the magic that I used to feel. BGW used to feel like someone added a little bit of Disney to a seasonal theme park, it used to feel a step above other regional parks. It had class, it could've been a contender, it could have been something instead of a bum, which is what is, let's be honest.
Some of you may say that I'm just being negative, but it's been several years of this now. Busch Gardens has had me on a roller coaster of emotions just as bad as Diavolo, or whatever name they end up calling it. It's been difficult following this project, and I just hope they leave a little bit of the Old Country left to enjoy.
