I've been told to keep the off the site- it's not my decision. I've got nothing against linking to them though...

Hey guys! This is my first time posting on the site, but I usually log on everyday. I've noticed that Screamscape has not been available for quite sometime today. Do you think it has anything to do with the pictures?:-/

Check out my earlier posts.

Personally I assume that it does given all the hoo-ra around the images. Screamscape tweeted saying that they're having trouble with the site, but that's ambiguous enough to leave things open to interpretation. Having a numbered, watermarked image on a site like Screamscape probably equals someone losing their job.

Screamscape tweeted a few hours ago that they couldn't access their host server's website. They also stated that the host server was going out of business at the end of the month and the site would be moving to a new host.

Yeah i'm good on TPR but not screamscape.
Also i saw the pictures earlier.it was from my phone though so i couldn't see much detail, looked interesting.
I just hope it all plays out well and it turns out to be an awesome project

Hmmm. It really doesn't look like Mr.Screamscape knows why Screamscape is down. Busch/authorities wouldn't be able to shut the site down without him knowing why would they?

LOL

I can tell you that after reading Screamscape for a decade that this isn't the first time the site's gone offline.

Where are you hearing that? Seems unlikely.

At this point I can see it as possible/impossible. If they start construction in the next two months then they would be golden for it... anything after then errrrr.... idk.

Well everybody let's think about it. This ride isn't going to need a massive amount of time to construct. All the roadways to the site are behind the park and out of the way of everyday operations so we know there will be ongoing construction when the park is open, Next at least 1/4 or 1/3 of the ride's footers are already existing. The biggest construction will be the show building and remodeling the station. So when you think about it this thing could go up pretty quick.

The last schedule I saw was for an April opening, I had a tentative schedule but I can't seem to find it.

Expect the same timeline for cheetah hunt execpt they will have to work 3 times faster to beat the Virginia winter expect ground breaking next month and new footers as well

This is a bit off topic, but I'll throw it out here anyway:

Intamin builds almost all of the drop towers out there. Busch went with Moser.
Intamin is the only one who has ever built a dropping track section. Busch picked Zierer.

I looks like someone at the park really has a problem with Intamin. That's a good thing in my book.
