Intamin builds almost all of the drop towers out there. Busch went with Moser.
Intamin is the only one who has ever built a dropping track section. Busch picked Zierer.
I looks like someone at the park really has a problem with Intamin. That's a good thing in my book.
Larry Giles, longtime Chief Engineer at the park (2 decades+?) dealt with fallout from the debacle surrounding Intamin-built Pompeii. It's bad enough that he stated back after the construction of Griffon that the park (not the company) will not work with Intamin in the future (which I assume to be the remainder of his tenure at the park).
While I wasn't picking Zierer (who was?) to manufacturer the coaster, I was leaning more towards Mack Rides and Premier Rides.
