Can't knock a manufacturer that put lapbars on a coaster like Wicked.

Griffon and Apollo's Chariot weren't exactly innovative and new designs for a coaster compared to other BGW rides like LNM, BBW, and Alpengeist. I expect this roller coaster to be a return to form for Busch, but I can't see it being one of the most thrilling rides ever; it's not supposed to be. It's given the family-friendly tag for a reason, and this could be a great follow-up for BBW. I expect the enthusiasts will be dying to compare the two rides and probably nitpick at why BBW was better, but I think the GP will be very receptive to this ride. It's different than anything at KD, which is a great draw for the park. This ride might not be better than a ride like I-305, but it's going to be difficult for a new ride anywhere else in 2012 to top it.

I was thinking that too. But from the images we've seen, it looks like the track is going to be just like the track in Force One.
I'm referring of course to images from Screamscape....you know....the ones that really shouldn't be up...but...I mean....if you're curios it's totally all there.
Especially the name! Thank god they went with Verbolten.

Yes, we have a name, and no, it's not Verboten. I think it's best to leave the name a secret till we post the big story though. If you heard the name now, you'd probably hate it.

Do you know the real name? (and have proof to back that up?)
Tekalion said:Hey Franco my last post was misleading. You werent saying that this coaster will be better than I305, I know. I guess its more in response to the "its going to be difficult for a new ride anywhere else in 2012 to top it." comment.
You know, perhaps. I guess we will have to wait and see...

Screamscape is only reporting the fact that BGW took out the name Verbolten as a trademark. There should be a difference here from rumor and confirmation. Nothing is set in stone as it seems.

Uh...I know this is an enthusiast forum, but geeez, thats a little much Franco.Look Im glad Busch is getting a new coaster, Ive been going since I was small, I live 10 miles away. However, I305 IS one of the best rides Ive ever ridden. Just by it being 300+ feet alone puts it in another category. Now I love Busch, and I think its a better park than KD, but KD really outdid themselves with 305...
Now about this manufacturer, Zierer. I went to their site, looked at their designs, went to rcdb.com and looked at some of their rides and.... Im not impressed. First their coasters all (ok maybe not Wicked) look like carnival coasters: compact, shallow drops, etc. Now Since BGW is sposed to keep trees and things intact will make this ride different from what weve seen, and the layout def is not compact, I just hope this doesnt feel like a campy carnival ride on steroids.
And I know this is a small thing. But those TRACKS! Whats up with Zierer's track pieces? They look like they'll snap off! When I look at a coaster I look at the shapes and the forms it makes, and all I see with Zierer is CAR-NEE-VAL. But I too am an enthusiast, and I just hope Busch and Zeirer really pop out a beautiful baby...
