Being that there is no ride in existence yet, if such sign exists, it would say "Limited Access Area."

Why would "Access Prohibited" be written in German if the real reason for the sign being there is to keep people out? I also don't buy that it could be the name of the coaster- Zutritt Verboten doesn't exactly roll off the tongue...

Very puzzling.

EDIT: Could someone post a word for word quote of the sign (the English parts and the German parts?). I have a theory...

This is the pic I took...only thing I saw
I also translated it and it says "Access Prohibited"

Hey guys, that sign has been there for years, and has no relation whatsoever to 2012. Just a themed version of a "team members only" sign.

I concur with with Newsie- nothing to see here. I was under the impression that it was in a much more obscure location than it is. Thanks for the picture, Gropplo!

That actually makes sense...I've never seen the sign because I never ride the bumper cars (line is always way too long), so I didn't know it was there already. I also peered over the fence and saw a pathway leading down to the Bavarian Village (which is still there btw) and the old first lift.

What Bavarian village? That was torn down with BBW.

The access path has been there for quite a while as well.

When I looked over the fence there were buildings down there...I assumed it was the village that was there with the ride...

P.S. If anyone proves me wrong about the buildings I'll just say now that they at least looked like buildings that were with BBW

Hmm...I wonder what I saw then. IDK but I go back into work on Saturday and I'll try to get there early enough to where I can see what I saw and possibly provide a better explanation for what I saw. For right now all I can say is that I saw what I thought were light colored "buildings" that looked like the village from BBW. But please if anyone is going tomorrow or Friday (or even went today) can you please tell me if you saw what I saw. Gee, I hope I'm not going crazy haha =)

Could you tell us where in relation to this picture these buildings were?

I honestly have no clue what buildings your would be talking about- I'll have a look if I get up there tomorrow...

That's not where I saw them. Looking directly at the bumper car station from the outside, to the left where the kiddie ones are there is a little gate door that has the sign from the picture I posted. I looked over that one and saw a service road and what looked like the village buildings.

its funny to look @ that panorama because its hard to imagine that terrain holding a rollercoaster with a village intertwined with it...it just doesnt look like any of that was ever there... :(

The Wolf wasn't built ON the land... it was built WITH the land.
