I'm not trying to be rude but I really hope they release the info regarding this coaster's specifications soon because I am sick of seeing this height debate going on and on and on... :dodgy:

Then why have we been backing up this 300 ft. astronomical height? Just food for thought.

Because it has came from reputable sources from within park, and NOT just orientations alone. I repeat, NOT just the orientations is it coming from.

What "news"? There isn't any news out there yet. Take everything you read with a spoonful of salt- nothing is news until it's official.

It's not evidence enough that the Busch Gardens in Tampa and the Busch Gardens in Williamsburg is building almost the same coaster as the the other park ...and for the 6th time at that! I dont think it would be a major difference as it would break the chain of the 6th duplicated coaster, by the same builder. If it was released by BG, I consider it NEWS!

Because Apollo and Gwazi are so much alike.

Well apperatnly BG did the same thing with Gwazi, just not at BGW.

The roller coaster opened in 1999, a few months after Florida's only other dueling roller coaster, the Dueling Dragons at Universal Studios' Islands of Adventure.

Err, that would be stretching it a bit and searching for any comparison IMO. It would be easier to try and infer AC to Kracken which are two totally different coasters.

Not really, it was just the first obvious comparison that I noticed that also covers my orginal post!

I understand what you're saying. You are pointing out that Busch Gardens has built two totally different types of coasters in the past. That being said it wasn't because they wanted it that way. Over here at BGW we could never receive a wooden coaster because of the noise and the issue of space when it comes to the area AC takes up. That is what I think is the reason why the parks got two different coasters at that time.

We know it is safe to say that the same type is going to be built. We have no clue of the nature though. More so on that note that there is confirmation of it OUTSIDE of the orientations. The debating on height is going to be monotonous until we have it in concrete and see it stand and being built. It is just hard to fathom that the level of employees outside of your standard operator is wrong. It could go either way at this point. I just don't see it wort Busch lying that big to quite a few people. Anyone that knows the company would know they are not the lying type whatsoever.

Well I can say that some information that I recieved from BGW park management does not match up to some information I viewed online that was released by BG. So I think there are plently of mixed stories/rumors coming from employees of BG parks. ..Does anyone remember that game when we were kids called "rumor"? (Sitting in a circle, and the first person says something to the next, and by the time it got to the end, it was totally different)

There's the catch, that is the point Swift has been trying to make as well. The people who it has come from are a bit more than standard employees. The fact that some of the people are from completely opposite ends of the spectrum (management inclusive). It it was a rumor then the information would have a slight variance at the least but there isn't one even with some of the people not knowing each other. My point is that right now I don't think ruling anything out is wise as it COULD be 95ft or 300ft or in the middle. We have no idea. I am open to the fact it couldn't be 300ft or 95ft but more so just a waiting game. That is where the speculation is building all of our anticipation.
