The Amusement Wire put up a nice lengthy video on In-park inprovement for those who haven't seen them and a nice view of the new markers popping up around the P2012 site.

(Does anybody also notice the ladder in the hole. I think it means something...) ;)

Also! If you rode the train you would had see the beginning of P2012 construction! The concrete piled up is probably either the old water runoff ditch under the BBW mid-course or the remainder of old footers!

It should be called NAZI ZOMBIES! no just kidding. But cheetah hunt is pretty weak. Sounds like something that would go in a carnival.

I was playing with the name today and some dictionary sites and came up with this:
ver
First person plural pronoun; we

bolt
To flee, to depart, to accelerate suddenly.
To escape.

en
Added to a stem - often an onomatopoeias - to form a verb expressing an instantaneous action.

What I make of this, nothing but it might show they put some thought into it and didn't just pull the word out of thin air.
What I do know is that one of the general contractors we work with has the plans. They haven't put them out yet but I hope to have some info soon.

I never said they were all German variants, this vér was Old Norse. Just something to play with, not to be so literal.

I was looking at other websites about what the ride could possibly be like. The one site mentioned a German Autobahn version of Test Track. Does this sound plausible?

We've heard that rumor, but I'm not buying it. We know that it will drop over the Rhine taking basically the same path as The Wolf did, I can't see something like Test Track doing that.

I dont know i mean look at EITA its basiclly a copy film of Soarin, so theres a chance they will copy test track!

There is no way that it could possibly be any variation or remotely simlar to Test Track. The nature of the track and vehicles of the attraction are completely unique to Disney and no others. Test track is also in no way a coaster. The building for Test Track is substantially larger than that of what we are expecting and also carries a cost way more than I think Busch is spending on this coaster.

First of all, TT isn't a coaster (check RCDB, it's not in there)

BTW, any chance the coaster will be suspended/inverted like the Wolf? Just wondering if it was plausible...

Also, I would like to see the waterfalls near the final drop, station, and Rhine turned back on!

"Wir" is first person plural, not wie(which means how). Just to clear that up. And I highly doubt it would be modeled after Test Track. Has anybody thought about the possibility of maybe being stuck in the middle of the Black Forest and constantly being chased/throttled by something? Obviously this kind of veers off the Autobahn path, like you're "bolting" away from something. Verbolten could sound kind of cool now that I think about it. Obviously Schwarzwalder wouldn't work (Black Forest), but ya never know.

This coaster is an Intamin multi launch coaster not exceeding 95ft in height. Its Cheetah Hunt with special effects.

Thinking its Test Track? Really?....

I am sure that is not the only waiver to be filed. That has been said many times.

Busch Gardens Tampa's sister park, Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia also has a planned coaster that will likely be similar to Cheetah Hunt. Williamsburg's attraction has not begun construction yet, nor has it received a name, as it is due to open in 2012. This is the Busch Gardens parks' sixth attempt on creating a similar roller coaster at both parks:

Tampa Bay Williamsburg
Python[13] Loch Ness Monster[14]
Kumba[15] Drachen Fire[16]
Montu[17] Alpengeist[18]
SheiKra[19] Griffon[20]
Air Grover[21] Grover's Alpine Express[22]
Cheetah Hunt[2] Unknown[23]

Is this taken from somewhere?

When are they going to file for more waivers? The process takes several months for approval. It is now basically April, if they were to apply now it wouldn't get to the board until May, then approval July or August. You're telling me they are going to wait until after they would have to start construction to get final approval that they can actually build the ride? The plans for the attraction exist and have been through the approval processes. I know everyone wants to hope for something 300 feet tall but from a bureaucracy standpoint it doesn't seem very plausible given the time constraints.

Zoomy, if you are correct, someone at the park should be very ashamed of themselves right now. Like I said before, I find it hard to believe that Busch is getting a 300ft coaster, but I also find it hard to believe that Busch lied to all of their new employees.

Also, don't forget what I said before, I think that the Mach Tower could of been a test to see how high they can go in that area. Also, is there actually any possibility of the board denying their request? Tourism in James City County is a huge deal and the board knows it. Wouldn't denying a waver from Busch be basically shooting themselves in the foot? Does the board actually care what King's Mill thinks anymore?

Keep in mind that it was also said to people outside of the "orientations" that more than a standard employee.

FYI a waiver of the statute Busch holds takes nowhere near as long as you are describing. That is coming from a city council member of a local city. The volume of people Busch brings would certainly allow it to be expedited.

The King's Mill situation will be interesting. Especially so since the big reason they didn't go all out before was the both being under the same company. Will be good to watch
