Screenshot this. I am going to agree 100% with this guy for a change.

Here I what I know (or at least have heard form a recording). The train will back out of the station, then will rotate on a vertical turntable straight up. The Electromagnets will launch you vertically (like a space shuttle) up 300ft. Once at the top, you will stop (like Griffon) at the edge, "And then the ride begins".

Someone else said that Carl Lum was in the room at the time. Anyone know how many different orientation sessions actually happened?
A lot. They have them scheduled throughout the day at this time during the year.
On average there are 50 to 60 people in an orientation. The park employs over 3,000 people. Thats at least 50 orientations.

I've thought this the whole time.

Griffonrox, is this sort of what you're talking about?

Key:
Green: Station
Red: Tilt Section/Launch (Horizontal Position)
Orange: Tilt Section/Launch (Vertical Position)
Blue: Track
Purple: Train Movement
Gray: Track Rotation

NOTE:
I have just received yet another tip from a trusted source (not the same one as before) that concurs with what Griffonrox posted above. Is anyone keeping count?

I've heard the same thing but minus the 300ft.

We might as well as start a dance fight over this...

When I first heard about I305, its rumored height was 380ft and the coaster would travel from Congo around the rebel yell to behind grizzly and back... Some "idea" actually don't happen.

Other than Intamin, I don't think any companies are willing to build to 300ft (maybe Mauer Sohne)

And how do you "back" out of a station? Do you enter it backwards? Sounds like multiple turntables, which sounds cool.

The only disagreement I have is the 300ft. Everything else I can believe.

Do you mean that it comes in the front of the station (going backwards) or do you mean it comes in the same way it left (going forward)?

That's is what it sounded like...

Then only thing I can imagine is the train leaving the station, then being tilled backwards then launched upward. That would be sweet!

Imagine if it was indoors and themed!

I could see that as being dope but I could see the capacity as being a problem unless it is crucially short.

This is exactly what busch wants you guys to think all these rumors and speculations remind me of when griffon was just a rumor. Busch gardens are Genius's of feeding little bits of info about their newest attractions we do the marketing for them and they just sit, laugh, and save a heck of alot of money on marketing because of these so called speculations. On another note the idea of a turntable seems more possible I could definately see busch going that way so that leans me towards intamin taking the project because of their work with 13 at alton, though it wasnt as big of a success as they would have liked. 13 couldve been the foreground to something amazing to get back into the "graces" of busch with this new concept.:p

It wouldnt kill capacity. Think of the transfer track on Tatsu when they are running both sides... Same thing accept the direction the track leads is different(backwards). As soon as the train loads into the station(and the other train has cleared launch area) the transfer track can switch to the launching section. If capacity is really a concern, the ride can have a double station(not duel, but one with a seperate load and unload). 2 station zones/blocks, 1 pre launch train block, and the launch track itself can hold a train. That actually would probably load pretty fast...

My statement was directed at entering/exiting via the same track. I can see where the misconstrued view lies.

And with the fact that John Reilly confirmed that the BBW station would be reused ( I assume as the new station since none of its infrastructure was removed) I highly doubt any of this will happen...

Storm Runner at Hershey has something like that, where they load on both sodes of the station where one is loading and the other is launching. The only problem is if they are only running one side of the station they can only run on traun, there for only one train can be operating on the track at a time. So when the days are slow and they are only running one side of the station, lines can still get pretty long.
