I think both parks have some higher ups who definitely lurk on here. KD has even referenced Parkfans on at least 1 occasion. Possibly even some of the people who post on here could be.

(Maybe the reason @Zachary has so much insider info is because he himself has been a higher up undercover all these years???!?)

New theming appears to be on the way. There's a themed crate backstage that looks very much like it'd fit over the photopass camera, a plywood box that appears to contain theming, construction materials scattered throughout, cranes, and more. Sadly I didn't have my phone in the station so I don't have photos but I'll get video from the ride tomorrow.

Best photo I could get from the backstage gate. Again, I'll get more video tomorrow
I am highly confused by what I am looking at here and why anyone would think it's related to Pantheon theming. That area is constantly used for storage and almost always has some boxes especially this time of year as Howl-O-Scream prep starts to gear up.

There was tons of construction materials throughout the ride, cranes inside the ride area, and between the items in this picture and the other related construction I figured it was pantheon related. Unless they're putting a Howl-O-Scream maze inside the ride envelope, I cant imagine why else this stuff would be there. In addition, the stack of crates is just as tall as the ride camera and has a hole about the size of the camera. That's why I figured it was for the ride. Maybe it's not though 🤷‍♀️

What are these cranes you describe? If they’re just the regular blue bucket lifts those are always there.

Oh. Why are they always there?? Also, there were construction trucks and other construction-related vehicles
They are there because they are required for several aspects of maintenance on the ride and it just makes more sense to keep them there then to continually drive them in and out. I rode the train around to look at the 25 site and saw nothing unexpected or unusual around Pantheon.

Im assuming it is just easier for them to leave them there for track inspections. Hence the new-ish concrete pads below them.
I believe that, and in the *extremely* unlikely event a train were to stall on the tophat, they would be able to use that for evacuation or forcibly rolling back a train.

It’s all for the modern day archeology site theming around Pantheon
Archeological sites around Pantheon would be a bit off accuracy wise. Too bad they can't replace the station roof with a dome. Next best would be statues and frescoes appropriate to the site.

I know. There is no archeological digs at the Pantheon. It is a beautifully preserved temple in the middle of Rome and is currently a gorgeous Catholic Church-The Basilica is St. Mary and The Marytrs.

The coaster is themed after the pantheon of gods, not The Pantheon the building.
I would venture to say pantheon isn’t really themed to anything, the theme still feels more like open field to me, honestly at this point with common misconception of the theme amongst the general public being that its themed after the building, and bgw’s clear lack of theming and the bare minimum funds they have in that theming. I would just pivot in to it if they do ever revisit the theming.

(Not that I don’t think pantheon of gods being better, just might as well lean in to what is already working)
