All criticisms of this ride are certainly valid. That said a lot of the time when I hear them I just imagine being on that swing launch getting “backwards launching ejector air time” and the LSMs going “ZHOOOOOOMMM…ZHOOOM!” and how much fun that is. I get it this ride clearly was lazily planned and budget cut to hell, I still love our completely out of the way, cow poop smelling, wooden fence and little flag themed Intamin LSM launch coaster and the fact they gifted us this toy. Maybe they’ll revisit the theming one day hopefully.

Our Virginia parks certainly love the “large thrilling intamin tucked in a field” vibe.

Former ride op, please don't be stupid like this. I had one incident my first year at Great Adventure where I got called that someone was in my ride's danger zone while the ride was cycling and I thought for a good 20 minutes that someone just died, even after I went to check that everyone on the train was alright.

Has any of the “field” filled in with grass yet? The limited landscaping on the walk up to the queue and queue itself looking better? Haven’t been in a while and was curious if the little bit of aesthetic improvement is working

Yes, there’s visibly much more grass in the field.

I kinda find it funny that Pantheon is getting more up time then the 3 B&Ms. Every Sunday I go Alpie, Apollos, Griff are all down for wasps and for some reason alpie is only open on weekends now.

Can someone explain how pantheons restraint system works? Like apollos chariots I can hear it clicking, invadrs i hear clicks, but what is keeping Pantheons harness from coming up? The "what if" always makes me nervous lol

It's a hydraulic restraint, those don't make any noise. Apollo and InvadR have ratcheting restraints, hence why you hear clicking.

But like how does it work? I always feel like those are just held by a sensor or something and as much air as you get on that thing and if you're a big guy like me, that weight against it always makes me wonder lol

Each restraint has two very strong hydraulic solenoids that hold your lap bar down during the ride. If the restraint were to pop open, both solenoids would have to fail.
