I actually prefer the current entrance location both because it leaves the garden of invention intact and because it still leaves open the location of the cradle for a possible flat in the future.
Ooh, good point. I didn’t consider that.

My reasoning for my previous post was that Pantheon being part of Festa and not San Marco was partly to get away with the lower theming standard of that area.

That still kinda begs my question if that San Marco connection was ever seriously discussed/actually planned at the park-level. I just suspect that whoever created the animated POV could have just whipped that up in Blender, knowing it would be some kind of Roman theme, but not knowing 100% how the park planned to connect it to other paths. Or, they could have been instructed by the park to model it that way, I'm not sure.

Bridging over the launch is interesting, but I always thought connecting it right past Marco Polo's and threading the restrooms. Seems like it would have lined up perfectly with having a small ramp/bridge over the low curve and enter under the first inversion, like my ancient mockup below:

Certainly wouldn't have been cheap, but damn it would have been awesome.
I can only imagine the bottle neck though of registers and patrons to MPM trying to rush to get seats for whatever show is on while they eat and the people booking it for the coaster as well, not having any spacial awareness.

Not to mention that the brief time I worked at the park, I used the Italy break room and there’s a path behind the whole structure so the workers and performers all can maneuver out of the public eye. There’s a solution for that I’m sure but Bauch barely gave the coaster the budget for a sign out front. I think they probably thought it was the better option cost wise to do what they did. Less infrastructure work.

Saw here pantheon opens the 27th supposedly but the parks clodes on monday. So I assume not this weekend but next weekend pantheon will open is all things are good? Unless this weekend is possible?

How is this park so terrible at operations. If I had a dollar every time I made the trek through Festa to ride pantheon to find out it was closed. I’d have a lot of dollars. Canceling my pass 100% upon renewal in April. I’m looking forward to KD.

Staff said Pantheon will likely open later today. They just sent a test train while I was sitting waiting for train at the Italy station.

Now that im thinking, why is pantheon so un reliable vs velocicoaster? People meme it's just instamin but i don't believe veloci is nearly as un reliable as pantheon right?

Maybe there's different challenges for different rides even if created by the same manufacturer? I suggest watching some Ryan the Ride Mechanic videos for further explanation of that concept.

Also, PRKS/BGW isn't Universal in practically any way outside of similarities of being in the industry, their business practices and staffing decisions aren't the same so trying to compare the two is not a good idea.

Velocicoaster can be unreliable. We were just down there three weeks ago when it was colder (mid 40s to 50s) and they were having a heck of a time getting it to run consistent. The cold weather was constantly causing overshooting on launch sensors. I was actually on a train that stopped at the second launch and had to be evac'ed from the ride (got a ruby pass out of it tho) and that was the third time that had happened that day. Let's not even talk about the issues Hagrids was having that week because of the cold. Hulk on the otherhand, once it got warm enough to run, it ran consistently all day (much simpler ride system). These multi-launch rides are very finicky and don't like bad or cold weather.

So they run better in warmer weather? Didn't really know that.

Whats a ruby pass?
