I’m really not a big fan of RMCs. I mean they’re fun and all but nothing crazy special
I feel what made some of them special was the insane moves of a steel coaster but reusing wooden supports gave it that traditional woodie sway and movement. I feel like they have done too much to the ground and rebuild using steel supports, minimal wood, and steel track that it’s almost like a steel coaster built to look like a woodie anymore. (Hot take?)

I sadly have to agree with this. Controversial take, but I just feel like rmcs exist just so the people who adore ejector airtime can be happy. Don’t get me wrong, I love ejector as much as the next person, but there’s so much more to a coaster than ejector. Twisted Timbers doesn’t even make it into the top 3 at kd imo behind i305 FoF and grizzly

Just a word to those who weren't into coasters before the early 2010s, RMC did things nobody had ever seen before. They have their issues as any other manufacturer does but Alan Schilke was able to use RMC as the blank slate he needed.

With that being said, their trains blow.
Agreed. The trains bring them down significantly.

I'll never forget watching Outlaw Run get built on TPR back in the day. It really was mindblowing that any coaster could make moves like that, let alone a a woodie. It's definitely been interesting watching Vekoma and Intamin adopt elements of the RMC style over the years as stalls and outerbanks etc have become more common.

Iron Rattler is easily my #1 RMC, partly because of the setting and partly because of the Gerstlauer trains. Infinitely (hehe) more comfortable than RMC's own

I felt I gonna get so much backlash for saying it but I felt superman ride of steel from six flags america was a overhyped ride because its a clone of ride of steel from six flags Darien lake but mirrored, if it was a original layout, then I would not call it overhyped but since its a clone, I would call it overhyped, I mean, we still have ride of steel at six flags darien lake

Mystic. Timbers. And banshee, but more so mystic. I can somewhat understand some ppl may not like the beat, but putting it over Dback and Orion, come on now.
Orion is boring as fuck after the drop. Its forcless and does absoutly nothing. Banshee is the best ride at KI outside of night rides. 😎 It's also smoother and more powerful and better than Alpengeist. Better drop, its faster, maintains its speed the entire time, smoother

Nah Orion’s speed hill is my favorite element on any giga

I KNOW. Orion is a good ride but that's about it.
Had I not been on Fury before hand and seen the potiential it COULD be then I would think it was insanely good. Also just thinking of how lazy KI got with spending the extra couple mill to make it world class makes it even worse. It literally feels like a coaster on RCT I ran out of money in the middle of building and had to BS construct the ending to get it open.

Mind you id gladly take it at BG or KD the way it sits and be insanely happy.
