RE: New (Bowling) Shirts for Everyone

Currently:
Germany: Blue
Italy: Red
Ireland/Scotland: Green

Coming in 2013:
France: Yellow
New France: Orange

Recent Rumored:
England: Purple

And to come with the shirt changes, ALL team members will be switching from black pants to kaki pants in 2013, supervisors are expected to get all new costumes as well. There will be a few black pants around the park but a very wide vast majority are going kaki.

Looks like the park is going for the laid back rainbow look. Any thoughts?

RE: New (Bowling) Shirts for Everyone

Also, as I said earlier all the supervisors will now be wearing Kaki shirts with kaki pants.

Can anyone legitimately add to the thread with some opinions or ideas related to this new information instead of sarcastically replying.

RE: New (Bowling) Shirts for Everyone

I don't think I ever responded on the subject, so I may as well put in my two cents because.... I'm bored. I don't necessarily hate the uniform change. Maybe the park is driving for an outfit that better demonstrates the authority of the employees, but I understand sticking to theme of the park is very important to people also. That is all.

I really don't like those shirts. It only reminds me of how these parks aren't owned by Busch anymore. And It also reminds me they are taking one step further away from my childhood Busch Gardens, well I will have to deal with it.......:dodgy:

This post makes VERY little sense whatsoever. The company's main structure remains intact as it did while AB maintained ownership. Post buyout the company has improved several areas as well as instill new suits that are much more in touch with theme parks needs and operations. Over a dozen of these suits have come from DIS and a few from Uni. The notion that the parks are worse post buyout is flat-out laughable. SWF, BGT, BGW (yes I said even BGW!), SWSD, etc are all in the best state that they have ever been in. So please elaborate how this move means that the parks are getting worse. I would LOVE to hear it.

This post makes VERY little sense whatsoever. He never said the park is getting worse. All he said was he doesn't like the new uniforms because his childhood is filled with memories of the old uniforms and it's as if they are destroying the memories of his childhood. So please elaborate on why JuniorBGWfan deserves to be bashed for something he didn't do. I would LOVE to hear it.

If someone's wrongly accused, I'll stand up for them. That is all.

Your post is clearly of little sense. My post perfectly negates his point of this move reminds of AB no longer owning. This is a change that would have happened even with AB maintaining ownership. It more than likely would have happened sooner as this plan had been in the works for quite some time. Why is he being bashed? Simple, he is either terribly misinformed or uninformed. Now everyone knows.

You just tried WAY too hard. Try again.

RE: New (Bowling) Shirts for Everyone

He said that these new shirts REMIND him of the park no longer being owned by AB; regardless if the change was to happen or not, due to the shirts being changed so close to when the sale happened, the shirts gave him am mental reminder that AB no longer owns the park. He never said that the action happened because of park ownership changing. He did state the action reminded him of the park ownership changing. REMINDING is a lot different than happening because of.

Your move Atlantis.

So by that you are saying his opinion was formed by ignorance?

RE: New (Bowling) Shirts for Everyone

By that I mean he was not stating that the shirts were changing because of the new ownership, but happened close to the change of ownership. There was no ignorance, just slightly poor wording on his behalf. I think he should have reworded his state to be a bit more accurate; however there is nothing wrong with what he originally stated.

And constant discussion to decipher is actual meaning is not needed. The original post should have been worded toward an accurate correlation of events or lack thereof. Insinuation to the change being the fault of a buyout is flatout ignorance.

Twisting his original wording just to argue with me (flattering, really, I feel beyond loved to know you went out of your way to defend him since I was the one ripping on him) has made my night!

RE: New (Bowling) Shirts for Everyone

No his original post used the word reminded, I did not twist anything but used the actual meanings of the actual words in the actual context.

You have attemted to infer the original meaning of his post. That deciphering shows that his post was beyond poorly worded and created out of ignorance. Two events that have no true connection between eachother. That is like saying Tim McGraw's music stinks because Michael Jackson is dead. Makes no sense in the slightest form.

Thanks for making me feel so loved though. You guys are the best! :)

I'm sorry, I didn't even catch the bickering here because I got stuck watching Alpenghöst's animation of Hugh Laurie in the Blackadder series.

He posted about five more that were even better!
