RE: Mäch Tower

Since the seating structure will be rotating 360 degrees, I don't believe they'll be able to do that.

RE: Mäch Tower

Well, that may be true as of now.. but the park did say the tower would have surprises that have never been seen before. I guess we shall see soon enough! :D Exciting.

RE: Mäch Tower

You're absolutely right CC. Mäch not Mach. My bad.

True Nora, you never know. I'm stoked about the two-year plan.

RE: Mäch Tower

Rotating on the way up? Maypole? dont they dance sound the maypole and wrap the ribbons around it?

sounds like the rotating on the way up could be considered a thematic element when you think of it as a maypole.

RE: Mäch Tower

Is that your gut talking? Or do you know something?

We dont like when people say they are sure of something around here. That is unless you are privy to some info that we dont know. Not trying to get on your case but if you are sure of something at least back it up or let us know it is an opinion. We dont need arguments/confusion like that howloscream thread.

RE: Mäch Tower

Just throwing this out there: Where did this whole vibrating seats thing get started? I hadn't heard anything about it...

RE: Mäch Tower

well the vibrating seats comes from a good source. i'll leave it at that

but think about it. theres only but so much you can do to a drop tower without getting crazy complicated

RE: Mäch Tower

I think considering what we know, spinning obviously has to do with dancing around the maypole, but what else goes on in that dance that could possibly hint at the surprise???

RE: Mäch Tower

To confirm the vibrating seats, a fact sheet is now available.

RE: Mäch Tower

I am just not that hyped up over vibrating seats. The rotation of the tower is nice; but I was hoping for something a bit more inspiring in the "effects" category. I guess once the tower is built, the final decision on how much vibrating seats add to the experience of the ride will be determined.

I see the vibrating seats as a psych to those who are not anticipating it. Imagine being scared out of your wits to go on it enough. You get to the top, thinking you are about to fall, but nope, GOOD VIBRATIONS, and then falling. That would catch quite a few off guard

RE: Mäch Tower

maybe after reaching the top and the seats vibrate you do your plummet to the earth then as the brakes hit in you think you are safe and it will blast you back up and plummet you back down now thats a mach tower sorry just an idea i would love to design rides for bg and other amusement parks especially after working in the theme park industry for 10 years, but cant wait to ride it, oh my friend said as it gets to the top it will lean over like the leaning tower of pisa, but who knows what bg has up its sleeves, :-/
