I've certainly been taking with a grain of salt whatever the employees have been saying about MT, however this time they seem to be very certain. My instinct is to believe what they are saying. Employees on Wed, soft open on Fri.

So if Friday is a soft opening, I cant imagine them doing a media event. It wont look very good to invite media out there after all these months even tho it is not BGWs fault. The GP would not understand...

It's too late for a media day. Unfortunately the media will be more focused on what kept the ride closed instead of "yay, it is open!" They'll screw up the truth, too. Like they always seem to do with just about everything.

And besides the most they're going to get from a media day at this point in the year is a bit more local attention and that is it.

Yeah, there's not gonna be a media day as it's utterly pointless at this point.

Team members are riding from 9am-5pm on Wednesday. Not a night thing so maybe someone can get some pictures.

You know now that I think about it, knowing that Mäch Tower has crashed is going to scare the s*@! out of me. Especially since I have a petrifying fear of hieghts (Like I get concerned at 3 ft off the ground). :-/

Does anyone know of a close opening date? I'm going this coming weekend; I really don't want to be stuck in opening crowds. The ride doesn't even look that good and...vibrating seats? What the heck?

Ok, this ride is pointless. Who cares about vibrating seats... what, is this a 4D Drop Tower or something? :p Although, it does look sorta fun, it just has pointless add-ons.

Thanks for the link, er111a. Did anyone else notice that it seems to brake sooner than in the last video I took?

On a completely unrelated note, we need to get BGWFans one of those fancy video intros...
