Les Frites

Livid! Entered Les Frites 1:30 stood in line for about 15 minutes. There were only 4 people in front of me. The staff walked around with no sense of urgency. One guy appears to be new and only gave me half the normal amount of fries. I just let it go and continued to wait to be rung up. The person at the register also had to get drinks, while another employee just wandered around, and even went in the back to drink. Why wasn't she helping with the drinks? After watching all this for 15 minutes, I just left my food on the counter and walked out.
I agree that Luke's experience was inexcusable. I wonder, however, if part of the problem is that the most seasoned servers are currently working at F&WF booths? Perhaps, service will improve next week?
I've had similar experiences as Luke multiple times. I get my fries at a reasonable pace, but the slowdown seems to happen at the drinks/register since the cashier often times has to ring up orders and get drinks. The employees are always moving at a reasonable pace in my opinion so it seems to be more of an issue with the higher ups not streamlining the service properly. They need to have a separate employee running the drinks in my opinion.
Soooo just tried it again...this time out of sour cream. New staff but same issues. One person on register and drinks. Manager playing on her cell phone in view of everyone. Her cell phone has jewels and stuff all over it...so clearly it wasn't a work phone. Livid

What did you get? You are a les frites expert so I need to know your selection so I can make an informed decision when I go there myself.
I always go for the Smoke House BBQ fries they have become almost a must have for me when I visit the park.Merboy said:
On our next trip we have to have our first trip to Les Frites hearing that all the kinks are now worked out. We've gone in and out like 3 separate times checking it out and always back out and head somewhere else in the park to eat or something. The first time or two we backed out were because the lines were so long when they had first opened.
