Back in the day (old lady alert) if it wasn't busy they'd let you keep on riding. Either that or my good looks worked on the teenagers running the ride back then. ;)

I have literally never had that happen to me, Nicole, even on completely empty days when nobody was in line and it was raining. It seems silly since we ended up just exiting and re-entering the skyride through the queue again. I suppose it just has to do with who is working the ride.

Oh trust me, I have asked. That is why it was so annoying when we had to get off only to re-enter and ride again. It was a complete waste of time.

That's almost as bad as when you have to walk through the whole set of switchbacks when nobody is in line. But that doesn't matter because train is still my favorite transport ride!

Walking five feet from the exit to the entrance will get you on the same sky bucket in time, maybe even one that came in before yours. I don't see the big deal other than having to walk 20 feet....

There were Red Sky Buckets. I want them back, like now.
