You know they could make sky buckets for each color of bowling shirts in the park. Purple, Orange, Yellow, Red, Blue and get rid of that terrible Green.

Hi All,
New to the forum but longtime lurker.
Anyone know why the skyride was down for most of the day Sunday Oct.11th? We were about to get on and saw people being turned away and I asked one of them - they said down for the rest of the day. But my inquiring mind wanted to know why. I guess I should have asked the ride operators.

Saw a breakdown today (~10 minutes long) while waiting at the Germany station. One bucket was sliding down the exit ramp to the cable when the ride stopped, and the poor people in that bucket swung back and forth like crazy when it came to a hard stop at the bottom of the ramp instead of clamping onto a moving cable. It was either great or terrible timing, depending on how much they enjoy surprises.

We found out today at the media event that the skyride will be closed during the Member Sneak Peak, because of Finnegan’s Flyer construction.
Oh no. I wonder if it'll be open come opening day, or the weeks following?
I imagine once the park properly opens they will have the cranes out of there since they probably don't want to obliterate the atmosphere with obvious crap like that if they can avoid it. But who knows.

The Busch Gardens Skyride is set up to provide one-way transportation from one loading
station to the very next station. If a guest would like to continue on to the third station
they will be required to exit their cabin and get back in line to re-board and continue their
journey. This ensures that guests already waiting in line at that particular station can board a
Skyride cabin in a timely manner.
The exceptions to this policy would be guests with disabilities, parties, or times when there
is no waiting line in that particular station. If a guest requests to ride through to get to
Health Services, politely ask the guest to exit and offer to call Health Services for them."
They may have updated this policy recently. It was not very long ago when my family was asked if we would like to ride through and keep on going - despite there being a (relatively short, but still at least 5-10 minutes wait) line at the receiving station.
We went the entire loop without leaving our gondola.

Bringing my grandparents to the park for Christmas Town. My grandfather will be renting an electric scooter as he can't walk long distances. I know guest services will help with accessibility guides, but I was curious if anyone knew if they'd let him leave his electric scooter at one entrance to the Skyride and do a full circuit without getting off/return to the station he boarded? I'm trying to get a plan ahead of the trip, and thought they'd both like the vantage point of the lights from the skyride. Thanks for any help!
PS- I know the ride manual is posted somewhere in this thread. I'll read through that if I have too, but I was seeing if anyone knew without me reading the manual!

Yes, the park will let you do that. Just stop by guest services.
