Turtle is so fast you must have missed him. He was over in Scotland by the rainbow bridge.

OMG!!! The critters light up! The turtle looks like it's signaling the mothership in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Wow!!

Just to make something clear, this is the worst event ever. I've never in my life been more disappointed by anything at the park.

Yes. A lot of that going on. Mr. Turtle has his butt to the crowds. As you approach France you are presented with the backside of a giant snail. When you leave the park...you got it! Mr. Toad's wild a$$!! lol
Not to mention as you walk through Pompeii, you look up and see... the undersides & crotches of a bunch of giant fireflies. Most of them have their rears to the view of folks on the pathway. What the hell is going on?

What was the point of that "giant glow Stand" in Oktoberfest. They're not even using half of it, that tree was a waste of money. They should've kept the maypole, and at night put a couple of glow stands around it. Instead of putting a tree that's USELESS, and a waste of money there.

The problem with GLOW Island is that it is an over-sized GLOW stand. We already have GLOW stands around the park. Aside from throwing some mooning ants around it, it is not special in any way whatsoever. There are GLOW stands everywhere!! Waste of a good spot in front of the Festhaus. I too miss the Maypole.

The stand is not fully set up or ready. They were supposed to have registers and the display setup and used the whole thing, but they are just now figuring out the logistics. For example, ALL merchandise has to be brought out each day and then packed up and removed each night, which for a supposed huge stand, is quite difficult. The registers are obviously not setup yet like they really should be. They are more or less really behind on getting the logistics figured out.
