Hit all except Circo last night. Vault and Lumberhack hold strong as always, Dystopia was surprisingly good, DD and Frostbite fell short for us.

The open space of the DK building I think is what kills it. It's too roomy. You don't get put on edge at any point, so even if the scares are good, you aren't anxious enough to feel it right. I think that's why any house that gets put in the DF building prospers; it's forced to be cramped and tight, with darkness. On that note, Dystopia benefits from going through at night. The curtains don't do well at blocking out light. Makes the whole house feel too bright.

Idk if GotS was on break last night, but it was weak. Sideshow had a lot of actors, and vastly improved costumes from last year. Axe Alley was the usual, and the actors seemed to be disheartened by the fact that they don't look scary, and were just kinda walking around, With the exception of the actors by the bungee. Vampire Point felt better than usual, lots of actors and they were doing good startles. Fools Court was destroying people even in broad daylight, those actors do well with what they are given. Ripper Row only had 2 actors we could find when we went through it, kinda strange. Hack Pack was on their game as usual, just seems to have some newbies that think revving the chainsaw is enough to get anyone, and haven't quite mastered the art of quick-starting the chainsaw and revving it in one swing to really get people.

All in all, better than last year. Things fit better, theming feels right in most areas.

Oh and whoever came up with the idea to use Abbey Stone as a passthrough during Jack is brilliant.
