And on a Thursday. Another "reward" only good for local members. Nice.

I feel it's a little unfair to criticize the rescheduled date for being a Thursday. This was originally a Friday, which is better for out of town members, but they were forced to change the date for something well beyond their control. There are no weekend dates available to reschedule before Halloween, so their only options were a weekday or not reschedule at all. I'm thankful we're getting a new date, even if it isn't the most convenient with work or travel.

isn't the whole point to demented dimensions being at BGW its relatively low cost? I recall that when it was first announced people said the maze in Tampa was reusing a bunch of old props combined into a new house in order to save money. is the same thing not happening here?

also, does anyone have an idea of what the rain is going to be like this weekend? heavy or light? forecasts say as of right now its supposed to rain all saturday then dwindle off on sunday.

BGW didn't have to do any kind of rescheduled date. Even though I can't come on a Thursday night, I appreciate them making up for the cancellation when they really didn't have to do anything.

Demented Dimensions is not returning to Tampa in 2018.

Wow. You're right. I think it's odd that Tampa retired TWO mazes after one season.

Stranger still, Dystopia sounds very much like Undead Arena Live at BGT, which wasn't popular at all and was also retired after last year. Both houses were about a dystopian society under an oppressive regime where guests take their chances of surviving. I wouldn't be surprised if they are recycling the same concept.

Howl-O-Scream 20th Anniversary:

Instead of bringing back true nostalgia by showing we can still make creative new houses with a lot of time and effort, let's take 2 concepts from Tampa and then throw all the old nostalgic things into a house with no real story, and boom 3 new houses.

this is the lyric video for the theme song of the event, it shows a jump scare at the end with the (im assuming) monster mascot of the event.

The first photo is of the eyeball roses from 2011's The Dark Side of The Gardens theme.
The pumpkins might represent Jack is Back.
The skulls are from Catacombs in 2009, even though the park listed it as 2010. The park showed Bitten as 2009 since both will be somewhere in this house.
The picture frame is from Unearthed in 2015.

ok I think I'm the only one who cares about this, but if the vault is supposed to be like "old" scares then why did the put unearthed and catacombs in it when they were just here last year. does that mean deadline will be in it too? I'm assuming this was for ease of cost since the two houses props could be easily recycled.

I'm guessing they are gonna put a lot more references to houses than we are thinking they will. Your idea of easy to recycle props is accurate too, since they'd be remiss if they left those props out just cuz

So tomorrow is only going to be shows and indoor mazes. Maybe I won't be going then...

The only good things about this are that the 3 new houses are open and they’ll be fully staffed, assuming terror-tory monsters are moved inside. But yeah, I understand the frustration.
