A friend of mine posted that he has been hired as a scare actor for a "new attraction" this year, but couldn't say what it was. In the past, he has worked in Lumberhack and Cornered. Maybe the rumored Bitten replacement??

Can confirm: new things await guests for HOS. Of course, nothing is in stone yet. I have high hopes for this season!! Might turn out pretty awesome

According to the BGW Auditions page, looks like Fiends will be returning despite being rumored to get the axe. Night Beats, and Monster Stomp are returning as well.

In a long line of shows that try to pass themselves off as, "theater," Fiends is in a class of tacky, trashy, unoriginal, and terrible unto itself. Saying its loss would not be any loss at all would be an understatement. Frankly it would be a gain.

Amen to that. I'm disappointed to hear its cancellation may not be happening. Though I'll miss the guy in the speedo.

First, about time we heard from the park concerning HOS i was waiting in anticipation on something major. Second, does the Burning of Bitten also mean that vampire Point is gone as well or are they going the leave the decorations up like they did with the Ports of Skull when that bit the dust.

About two weeks or so ago I posted this:
Note that I didn't say a new house should be expected to take Bitten's place (I don't want to comment one way or the other on that issue just yet). I did, however, confirm that a new house would be making its debut in this area of the park (Oktoberfest).
Why that very specific wording? I've been told over and over again now that there will be a house located inside DarKastle this year. Either there is an impressively potent plague of misinformation inside the park right now, or we will have a very interesting new house for 2017.

Well yeah besides the Bitten news, something else to the Festhaus area will be added..... and I hear even more new things to come to New France. But like I said really until the park says it,anything can change.

I wonder if they can put those there to mislead people. I have been told vehemently several times that Night Beats is gone. Also, whatever anyone thinks of Fiends in general, the park seems to be locked in a tight situation with that one. Even if the entire show was/is terrible, the nurses have proven to be a huge sales point just like they are in Tampa. They have supposedly been trying to get rid of Fiends for years, but they seem to have given up. It's there to stay whether they like it or not.
Fiends in Williamsburg was literally so close to being cancelled that Marketing sent out a letter to fans saying as much. It was decided last minute that the show would stay because alcohol sales were too high to not bring it back. Whether or not you like the show, you have to admit it's quite an evil one because of that.
