It really looked like they were either removing it or majorly gutting the the thing. I wasn't expecting to shoot pictures of anything there so I didn't have my phone ready snd took that one on the fly. But there also allot piled up that you can't see in that picture.

Does anybody know if Bittens interior is being removed and if there is a new maze going in there. Its been there since forever, its getting a little boring. And I wonder if there will be a house in the other building this year? Two new houses would be nice

I understand that Bitten has remained undisturbed so far. I haven't heard anything recently about it, but Unearthed is most likely staying, with a few changes. Catacombs is still under wraps. I'm sure we should know more about that one shortly after All For One debuts.

Lumberhack is still fully intact and can be easily viewed from the train and the Rhine River Cruise. It was rather humorous seeing the happy, sunny mood of the springtime landscaping and upbeat train soundtrack contrasted with the sight of severed heads and dismembered bodies. :p

"Mommy, what are those things in the woods?"

These photos were taken during the Easter egg hunt.

So that must mean that lumberhack is going to be the new permanent maze and a lacking maze at that.

Totally disagree.

While I'll give you that it created an interesting and creative environment for scares to those who aren't used to it, but for someone like me who grew up and still lives in the middle of the backwoods it was just like being at home, not scary. In addition those strobe lights are blinding and annoying as hell

That's like saying that someone who regularly uses an underground rail transit system can't be scared in Dead Line... Dead Line and Lumberhack both clearly represent twisted versions of those basic, underlying themes.

PS: If any Halloween house is "just like being at home," it's time to move.

Nope, I like were I'm living at the moment.

I wish last laugh industries would come back. Was that maze done by another company? I also loved masquerage, if there's any way they could use rapids que line as a house despite the wierd lines it would work so well. Two mazes would go well in that area. Is deadline returning?

I don't think the park used Oak Island as much back then. Many things were in-house, like Bitten.

The park most likely won't do two mazes in that area again. It has to be one or the other. Masquerage was only about half-built because they realized what a crowd problem it would be. Thankfully, they salvaged all of the props, which can still be seen in many mazes.

Deadline sits on top of the set of Curse of Pompeii, which is semi-permanent. They will need to invest a lot of money to re-do one of their most expensive mazes. Those are all great questions though. Those things have been holding BG back for years, and will likely continue to do so.
