Thinking back, I miss Last Laugh Industries. It was the first house I went through and it was one of my favorites as long as it lasted. The bright colors and lighting made it disorienting in a very different way. It was the perfect place to hide clowns, and I don't think that I need to explain why that's a good thing. While the sets in bitten and deadline are great, this house was very effective with simple props. If you have to choose one or the other, go with effectiveness.

After I typed that up I should mention that this house was seen as a downgrade from it's predecessor(which you might deduce from above that I never experienced). Distorted dimension was one of HoS's most popular houses, but the 3d aspect certainly added some upkeep.

Either way, I hope that the park can get its Festa act together and get a real scarehouse back in that area.

I'm not sure if this is the actual reason, but I was told by a tour guide and a few employees that it was due to crowding. Back in 2008 due to Wicked Woods the line for Masquerage would go through La Cucina and the plaza outside of RR. This caused the back half of Festa to become extremely frustrating to navigate as I couldn't even reach Tradewinds due to crowds during a visit once. Although, I would love to see RR return as an option for houses once again.

Sounds like the ideal setup for the festhaus park bitten/hunted setup. Have one line for two houses. You could choose to go to hunted without bitten, but the line was always for bitten. Even still that whole corner of the park from la cucina to RR is unused.

Also worth noting that in the days they had that area used they had many fewer houses.

While I would love to see the return of the werewolves that section of the park has been over used for years and so if you were going to add a new house please put it in a different section. For example there have been at least three houses in the Oktoberfest area in several different years including last year I would like to see a another part of the park perhaps a previously unused section be utilized for scares.

We will probably not see a haunted house in the Roman Rapids area as long as they use Festa Field, for the reasons Connor mentioned. Apparently Masquerage was significantly downsized because someone realized that crowding would be an issue while they were in the middle of building it.

The werewolves were fun and would like to see them back. It is time they update or replace some houses, Deadline, CTC and Catacombs. They almost had a great house in Unearthed but just was too long and not staffed. That hallway at the end kills any house put there.

Not clowning around for 2016...

Word on the grapevine is they already plan to bring back clowns for 2016 howloscream. I received this info from several sources who seem to be credible, although the fact I heard this news so soon makes me a little skeptical. Regardless, it is a runor I heard from several sources and I figured I would share it here.

Roaming hoardes work on paper, but when I went to the park I got caught between the two groups and didn't get scared once.honestly if they do roaming hoardes they need enough people to essentially not have any part of the park free of an actor.

That or have to the hordes posted to certain hamlets that way there is not more than one horde in the same area and parts of the park are left empty.

I totally missed the years that the clowns were there, so I would love to have a chance to experience that. Also, clowns are one of the few things that are truly creepy to me. If they bring the clowns back, I would guess that instead of being in hordes they'd be spaced out like the scare actors in the other terror-tories.
